RB JaMycal Hasty, Jacksonville (1 Viewer)

uh-oh, i thought this guy would be the #1 add this week in fantasy with there being no RBs in SF. i feel like i am the only one who was thinking this  :scared:

I picked him up but have him sitting on the bench until I see how the SF injury situation at RB unfolds.  I don't love that he only had one offensive snap last week though

Hasty would have to be the only healthy RB in SF for me to start him.  He could get the bulk of touches in any scenario but it is difficult to figure out that backfield.

You could see Jucuseczk (sp) getting a lot of touches in a one game spot too

This...there is probably zero chance Hasty gets more than 10 touches.  Jucuseczk will be involved, they will bring a wr in, they will use more short screens.  If you start Hasty you have to hope for a td or 10 catches

I think this is a bad take.  If Hasty is the starting RB with no healthy Mitchell or JWJr there is a much better chance than zero that he gets more than 10 touches.

I shouldn't have said touches I mean carries...he won't get more than 10 carries.

Even at that.  Much better chance than zero.

Looking at a game with potentially no Mitchell, JWJr, or Deebo.

THey love KJ too and KS loves the short passing game when the rbs are down.  This is a team that's been down to zero rbs lots :)

I'd be fine to flex him if Mitchell is out, and JWJ. Shanny has proved generally you can trot out trash in his system and it's neutral to effective.

but shanny is also an ###-hole and can pull the rug at any time.

Shocked his name isn't on Page 1 of the SP this week, looks like Mitchell and Wilson are both banged up, Hasty could see a lot of touches this weekend yes/no?

I'm a 49ers fan and I just don't think he is going to see a ton of touches.  Lots of others will be worked in to get touches.  Not to say he doesn't have a pretty safe floor of probably 5 points with catches but he doesn't have much of a ceiling

this.....

I don't see how anyone can trust Hasty at this juncture of the fantasy football season.  Perhaps as a desperation last flex because of injuries and the week 14 byes.

Unfortunately the 49ers play at 4:25 EST this week.  Hasty could be a tough start unless a handful of SF players are announced as out well before the inactive lists are due.

I'm thinking Saturday Afternoon that we will have a much better idea about who is playing in a must win for San Fran to continue their Playoff hopes this season.

-There's talk that Coach Kyle could be flushed after this year, would think it might be critical to at least snag the 7-seed to ensure a 2022 for Shanahan and a large chunk of this roster.

How can a SF RB possibly in line to start not have much of a ceiling?

This system is infamous for creating random 25 pt games out of scrubs that had nothing going for them other than availability.

Other than a flex start, it still takes some Cojones to start Hasty if your fantasy season is on the line.

Wilson put in a limited practice yesterday. Mitchell looks like a GTD since he entered protocol Monday. If he's not cleared, looks like possible snap share between Wilson & Hasty, should Wilson's knee hold up for an entire game.

Wilson had 2 games over 100 yards in 2020.  He ran for 183 yards in week 2 against the Cardinals and 112 yards in week 7 against the Patriots.  So he is capable of big games.

JaMycal Hasty caught 1-of-3 targets for six yards in the 49ers' NFC Championship loss to the Rams.

He didn't carry the ball behind Elijah Mitchell's 11 carries for 20 scoreless yards. Hasty appeared in 11 games this season, rushing for 16-68-1 and catching 23 passes for 157 scoreless yards as the Niners' preferred pass-game back. Hasty is scheduled to be a free agent in March as a 25-year-old.

JaMycal Hasty had two rushes for 62 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars' Week 6 loss to the Colts.

Hasty took one of his two carries for a 61-yard touchdown on a third and short carry in the first half -- part of the Jaguars' demolition of the Colts on the ground. Hasty wouldn't be a fantasy option unless James Robinson and Travis Etienne suffered injuries.

Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said RB JaMycal Hasty will see more carries.

Pederson added that Travis Etienne's role in the Jaguars backfield would not change after James Robinson was dealt to the Jets on Monday. Etienne, who has seen 42 percent of the team's carries and 12 percent of the team's targets over the past three weeks, should function as a locked-in RB2 option with Robinson gone. It's clear, however, that Hasty is ahead of Snoop Conner in the Jacksonville backfield pecking order, and would likely be the Jaguars' lead back should Etienne miss time. Hasty is a smart bench stash.

WW is nothing but scraps at this point. Picked him up based on this news because, frankly, I needed someone after loosing Hall and I'm scrambling.

Hasty would be the passing game back if ETN goes down.

That's the guy I want over Snoop, who I think most likely is not good.
