$4.3M he's owed in 2023, Miami can save over $2M by cutting Ahmed and Gaskin, they would only take on maybe $2M in salary, still about $10M under the cap right now.
Wilkins counts $11M ATC at the moment and if they would extend him, sure they can fit all those numbers into this year.

A 2024 2nd rounder, Cedric Wilson to give Richardson another NFL WR, and the kicker - Achane who'll be cheap for the next 4 years.

As a Vikings fan who’s not a huge Mattison fan… am I crazy to think that Taylor could be a great fit for an already seemingly high powered offense?

We have nearly $10M in cap space after getting rid of Cook.

I think the Vikings are in just as much of a win now mode as anyone with the pieces they have, and if last year showed us anything will have to score often to win.

IMO the teams that benefit the most from JT are the Vikes and the Dolphins.

I agree with these two but why no mention of the Chiefs yet? I know cap room but the great GM's always seem to find a way to make it work. A late first is worth a talent like JT, running back or not. Gibbs at 12, yeah I will take JT for a late first.

Chiefs or Bills would be a dream and unlikely to happen.

Tampa makes some sense. Baker might look like an NFL QB with great wrs and a great RB. Miami seems to be all in. Vikings have a lot on offense and adding Taylor would be big.

Wonder if it's even in the realm of possibilities to get creative and move Taylor to another team for a RB and picks.

Would they want him for their offense? Sure.
Would they want to sign him long term? Nope. They don't pay RBs.

I made no commentary about what happened last year. You kind of put words in my mouth there, little homie.

It would not hurt, however I do not think it would help all that much. It is a big if, but Rashaad penny' stays healthy i think they are fine at RB. Penny has a career 5.7 YPC and the last 2 years has averaged 4.5 YPC after contact.

If they can keep him in bubble wrap until the playoffs I do not think that Taylor is that much of an upgrade of Penny. Philly just needs to keep Penny as the 3rd stringer until playoffs start.

The downside with Penny is that he is twice as fragile as Swift.

This is the way I lean and the question is: would he accept a 3rd and a 4th or maybe two 3rds? What about a single second? He says he wants a first and I can't see any team giving up a 1st for an RB. The league has already shown what they think of RBs these days.

What do you think is the lowest Irsay would accept?
