No. You're losing points per game. J Jefferson is 1 of 6 WR's that averages 20+ per game. Walker could get close to that but is not there yet.Is he worth trading jefferson + for?
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said the team hasn't yet "cut loose" Ken Walker.
“I think he just continues to just show us who he is,” Carroll said of Walker, who has rushed for 315 yards and four touchdowns in three games since Rashaad Penny was lost for the season. “He’s very clear, he’s a clear guy, and we know who he is and how he sees things. He’s really just validating with the opportunities. I don’t really feel like we cut him loose yet, I think he has big games ahead. We didn’t run the ball well last week. He made a couple of terrific plays, but I think we are going to see even more than we have seen already, and not just in the run game, but the pass game too.” Perhaps Carroll is alluding to Walker's role as a pass catcher in Seattle's offense. He has just three receptions in his three starts. He did, however, lead the team's backfield in pass routes last week against the Giants. Walker should be treated as a borderline top-5 fantasy option for the rest of the year.

Seahawks offensive coordinator Shane Waldron on rookie Kenneth Walker's running: "Ken's done an unbelievable job of understanding where the concept is...then ab-libbing."
Says the RB "has that great vision."
Trades are always roster dependent. The formula is Walker + whatever wr would fill for the traded jefferson. Vs Jefferson + the rb you currently have that would be benched for walker. Having said that Jefferson is such a superstar that I would have a hard time trading him for walker..... It would appear to be a lopsided trade. Is he worth trading jefferson + for?
Kenneth Walker III rushed 26 times for 109 yards and two touchdowns in the Seahawks' Week 9 win over the Cardinals, adding three receptions for 20 additional yards.
The 100-yard rushing effort was Walker's second, as was the two-score effort. With coach Pete Carroll hinting Walker would be "cut loose," he also set new season highs in catches, targets and receiving yards. Those totals remained modest, of course. It was Walker who put the game away, capping the Seahawks' final two drives with one- and five-yard scores, respectively. 78 of Walker's 109 yards rushing came after halftime. Comfortably locked in as an RB1, Walker will be facing the Bucs in Germany for Week 10.

There was a rumour on Twitter and Reddit that Kenneth Walker did not have a passport but that appears to have been fake news.
Ken Walker rushed 10 times for 17 yards in the Seahawks' Week 10 loss to the Bucs, adding six catches for 55 yards.
Walker was the only back to see a carry for Seattle, but the Seahawks were down two scores at halftime, forcing them to abandon the run game. When Walker was able to get the ball, it often involved him getting hit behind the line of scrimmage. He did, however, save the day with six catches for 55 yards. Walker's role as a receiver continued to grow in Week 10 as he set career-highs in targets, catches, and yards. With receiving value added to his game, Walker will be a script-proof RB1 when he returns from Seattle's upcoming bye week.

If that were true, that would be a failure of the Seahawks staff and his agent. There was a rumour on Twitter and Reddit that Kenneth Walker did not have a passport but that appears to have been fake news.

Ah, I have less sympathy for the 27yo 5 year veteran than I would the rookie. Still, that’s part of what a staff does.If that were true, that would be a failure of the Seahawks staff and his agent. There was a rumour on Twitter and Reddit that Kenneth Walker did not have a passport but that appears to have been fake news.
Right position, wrong team:

Seahawks’ RB Kenneth Walker III is questionable to return today due to an ankle injury.
Ken Walker (ankle) has been ruled out for the remainder of the Seahawks' Week 13 game against the Rams.
Walker always appeared more doubtful than questionable with his right ankle injury. With Travis Homer (illness) inactive, DeeJay Dallas also dealing with in-game ankle injury and Tony Jones shaken up after a huge third quarter hit, the Seahawks might not only be light on running backs to finish the game, but in needed of making an addition or two during the week. Walker should be considered questionable at best for Week 14 against the Panthers, a brutal blow for fantasy managers during the final week of the fantasy regular season.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said that Ken Walker (ankle) "jammed" his ankle and that "We'll have to see what that means."
Cool, let us know when you find out, coach. Carroll is routinely optimistic about injuries but the rule-out does not bode well for Walker's status. We'll probably find out more about this over the next 72 hours, but for now Walker should be considered questionable for Week 14 against Carolina.

Strain implies muscle/tendon injury. "inside" implies medial injury. Of course that is assuming the lay person coach's words are medically accurate. Would seem dubious to play this week.
The one player I couldn't afford to lose to injury. Sucks, he's been great and was on his way to another good one yesterday, 3/36. Let's hope he only misses maybe a game but doesn't sound good.
K Walker: "jammed ankle"
T Homer: sprained knee
D Dallas: "high ankle issue"
Tony Jones Jr: 7/14 rush and 2/18 rec after Walker and Dallas went out last week
Unfortunately given Carroll's tendency to be vague and creative with injury updates we likely won't know jack until Friday.
I'll probably throw a $0 bid for Dallas then Jones but I don't expect either to put up anything more than flex numbers in the best case scenario which is bench material.
Ken Walker (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.
DeeJay Dallas, who also suffered an ankle injury in Week 13, did not practice either. Pete Carroll said Walker "jammed his ankle" last week, so we don't have anything specific to work with. However, he did not return after suffering the injury and was unable to practice to start the week, making it unlikely he suits up for Week 14. If both he and Dallas are out, Tony Jones and Travis Homer would seemingly split Seattle's backfield.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said it was "too early to know" if Ken Walker (ankle) or DeeJay Dallas (ankle) would be able to play against the 49ers on Thursday.
Monday and Tuesday injury reports for Walker will probably be the most-searched for information on the site. Carroll added that Walker is "dealing with an old injury that jumped back. He's been through it before, in years past. We just have to get him through it, see if he can play Thursday night."

Starting to look like the Seahawks got cocky arrogant and benched him in a game they thought would be a cakewalkWOW....Full practice today (Tuesday). Did not expect that...had almost wished they would give him another week. Don't think I can stomach running him out there Thursday night against that SF run defense. For now, have Mostert in front of him in one league and Gus the Bus in another. Good grief.
It’s either him or I have to start Lat Murray at RB2 in my .5 PPR big money league.
I really can’t stand these Thursday night games, especially at this point of the season
I debating on KW3 vs. Brian Robinson. On one hand, it's the Niners D which is scary, and BRob is going against a lesser D in the NYG's, but he's got Gibson taking touches.
Both at home. I'm starting to lean KW based on that, and the Niners may not have Purdy. This screams close game with lots of run plays for both teams.
I'd start Robinson over him this week without even batting an eye.I debating on KW3 vs. Brian Robinson. On one hand, it's the Niners D which is scary, and BRob is going against a lesser D in the NYG's, but he's got Gibson taking touches.

Michael Knight? From Night rider? Don't start him.In my flex, I need to start either Walker, Lockett or Knight. This is a non-ppr league so it's basically TD dependent. As of now, I am sitting Walker for many of the reasons listed above. Lockett has a TD in 6 straight while Knight is now the lead back but does shed some carries to others. Tearing my hair out.
Rolling the dice tonight. I'm a 20-pt underdog with not many good options.... if Walker can get the volume and a TD or two... that would be fantastic. Right now, I think SEA can play tough, similar to what they did against Carolina last week. The downside is if they have to abandon the run early if they can't stop the opposing offense, which is what happened against CAR. In addition, Homer didn't really light it up against CAR, so I am thinking it's KW's volume to lose.
If the game stays close, it's close I think the volume will be there and Homer didn't exactly light it up last week... but I guess we will see. Good luck to all of you taking the risk!
