I think Walker went into the NFL draft without playing his senior year.Wild, didn't know thatWalker is only 3 months older than charbs. They are basically the same age. 23. Walker turns 24 in October . Charbs 24 in January

Sorry but they were drafted one year apart and are 3 months difference in age. Why is that crazy or something? I agree for the most part but Charbonnet should be one of the first backup RBs drafted. Walker has had trouble staying on the field in his first two seasons.I've seen/heard/read enough about him being a workhorse that I believe it.
I've moved Walker up to RB11. I think he's one of the more talented rushers in the league. I think he'll see most of the work. I've started targeting him a lot in best ball over the past few weeks, and think he's a fantastic value.
Charbonnet I've moved down quite a bit. I thought he was going to be a handcuff that saw fairly significant work. Now I just think he's a handcuff. I think you're moreso hoping for injury or even a trade to give him value. Dallas, anybody?

He's being drafted way too low. He's a Top 5 runner in the league and one of the few guys who doesn't have an ACL tear or an achilles to his name. League winner type.ShhhhhhhhhI've seen/heard/read enough about him being a workhorse that I believe it.

However, he has an equally competent running back roommate with the same draft capital and a better YPC last season. There is also the unknown of how the new OC is going to use the two RBs.He's being drafted way too low. Disagree on the “equally competent”. While Charbs is obviously capable, he doesn’t have the same explosive ability of KW.However, he has an equally competent running back roommate with the same draft capital and a better YPC last season. maybe so, but you cannot simply overlook the fact that Charbonnet had a better YPC and more catches than Walker III last season. I personally do not think that Charbonnet is better than Walker III, but I do not think that Charbonnet prevents Walker III from being a lock for a top 5 RB this season.Disagree on the “equally competent”. Sure, but what also cannot be overlooked is that this is a different coaching staff implementing a new offense. Nothing but glowing reports coming out on KW this off-season, talks of being used as a pass catcher etc.maybe so, but you cannot simply overlook the fact that Charbonnet had a better YPC and more catches than Walker III last season. A different coaching staff wanted Charbonnet. He's a good back. But the new coaching staff didn't have any input in bringing him here. No allegience. They've gushed over Walker all off-season.maybe so, but you cannot simply overlook the fact that Charbonnet had a better YPC and more catches than Walker III last season. Walker has the talent and opportunity to be a top 10 RB. The other two don't.I was so disappointed with Walker last season that I had planned on replacing him with a combo of Spears and C Brown (keeper auction league).
As week 1 gets closer that is starting to seem like a really dumb decision. I have a tendency to chase the shiny new thing.
It is good to hear that the new coaches like him. I think will dust off my K9 Fan Club badge.
I was very high on Charbs coming out of college. I thought he would be a thorn in Walker's side. It didn't materialize. Walker showed what he can do when he's healthy and it is RB1 material. If healthy I can see Walker finishing top 12 (RB1).Oh not this again. Walker is much better than Charbs. Charbs was drafted as nothing more than a backup.
At this point you're in one of 3 camps
1) Charb is a real threat to Walker's fantasy production.
2) Charb is a minor threat and will steal some work
3) Charb will have little to no impact
Nobody really knows, but as I've stated earlier I'm more in the latter two camps. I think Seattle reached on Charbonnet and is not as good as his draft capital...and I'm not on an island with that opinion either, as several respected podcasts have shared that opinion as well.
I was not high on Charbs but I thought he'd be a thorn in Walkers side, and IMO he was exactly that. So to me most of the takes around here being concerned about Charbs limiting his upside were dead on.I was very high on Charbs coming out of college. I thought he would be a thorn in Walker's side
No one needs to be called out. If they want to be accountable and reflect back on their takes and learn from it then great. If not they will keep making the same mistakes. At this point you're in one of 3 camps

let's see some of the "sharks" take accountability for their incorrect Charbonnet takes last year.

Left the game with an ab injury. Might be precautionary, but still unknownNot sure why, but I have gotten at least 30 notifications from Sleeper that his status changed from healthy to questionable and they are still coming
Wonder if the abdominal injury occurred on his unnecessary dive into the end zone![]()
This is what I was wondering as well. Stupid.Wonder if the abdominal injury occurred on his unnecessary dive into the end zone![]()
I'm looking for the same update. I have an opportunity to grab Charbonet and drop Algier. I may do it anyhow just to be safe, but I don't have bench space to keep both.Any update on his ab injury?
Hoping it's just a pain tolerance thing. He didn't seem hurt in the post game press conference.
From what I know right now I say Charbs. I probably prefer Algeier with that potential offense and workload ROS if Bijan gets hurt but Bijan got all the work last game. It is only 1 week but Charbs looks to have more opportunity for work this week. With the unknow and waivers running tonight, do I drop Algier to pickup Charbonet?
The short answer is that I don't have another player drop so it's the above or wait it out.
Ugh. And I just traded for him. Well, I’d rather him sit one week than make it worse and miss multiple.Did not practice today. Definitely need to monitor.

I moved him to my flex in case. It’s only WednesdayUgh. And I just traded for him. Well, I’d rather him sit one week than make it worse and miss multiple.Did not practice today. Definitely need to monitor.
For sure. But I was at least hoping he’d be limited. It’s only WednesdayUgh. And I just traded for him. Well, I’d rather him sit one week than make it worse and miss multiple.Did not practice today. Definitely need to monitor.
Same.I moved him to my flex in case.
Groin/herbia/abdomen injuries can be all over the map. Since we don’t know exactly what this is, we just don’t know.Hoping it's just a pain tolerance thing. He didn't seem hurt in the post game press conference.
