RB Latavius Murray, BUF (1 Viewer)

Big news that afffects both McDadden and Murray is rookie starting RG Gabe Jackson is out for tommorow's game. So in that case, maybe it's best to wait on Murray one more week. Jackson when healthy is a road grader.

It was only preseason but this guy looked awesome against the Seahawks. Pretty sure the starters were still in at the time.
The whole team looked awesome against the Seahawks in preseason, how's that working out?

They looked pretty decent playing in the Clink against the Seahawks in the regular season, for whatever that is worth.

I have him in the starting lineup over Grey but I'm watching the pregame to see if they have any news on how the Raiders intend to split the carries. I don't expect much but he could have 3-4 catches with 60-80 total yards. I'd be very happy with that.

Boy he would be a pretty risky play. Not only is he playing against a good defense, he only had 4 carries last game. Not sure how you can start him going strictly by coach speak?

In PPR I'm starting him (over Charles sims, Crowell, and Fred Jackson). Even though the chiefs haven't given up a rushing td, their rushing defense sucks. Plus the raids like to dump it off to theirs rbs. I'm more worried about the distribution of carries than the chiefs' rushing defense

In my lineup at flex over Fitz and Britt in non-PPR. I've already clinched a playoff spot though, and am just trying to maintain the points lead. Might as well roll the dice.

He ran with the first team in practice this week then tonight he seems like a sneaky start. He's got fresh legs running against a bunch of tired defenders on a Thursday night game. PFF has a negative grade on KC's run D as well.

I'm rolling the dice unless I here something late about him not getting any volume.

Even if he's not likely to repeat the performance, I'd probably go with the guy who scored 4 TDs last week over the guy who got 4 carries.

McFadden is "starting"... FWIW.
whats with the quotations? Lol im awfully tempted to start him at flex over bush or crabtree
The quotations is because LM will still see plenty of work, so I'm not sure that "starting" matters. You guys MUST have better options, no? Our offensive line is pathetic.
Nope... Rolling with Murray instead of McFadden along with Bell. My only other option is Cadet :bag: . I have no RB's on a bye either.

My RB's suck....

On top of that, if I lose I'm likely done in this league.

We should be head over heels for Murray to get an opportunity, but I wouldn't advise anyone to start him. How could you proceed with any confidence knowing the Raiders track record? I get the long-shots though. GL with that for those playing him.

who said anything about confidence

It's Murray or Reggie Bush for me who is coming off injury, not as healthy as Joique, playing bad even when healthy, and already got knocked out of a game in the first quarter with the same ankle injury he's nursing now.

I'm not really expecting more than 60 combined yards from either guy, so I'm applying the 'upside of the devil I don't know is higher than the upside of the devil I do know" train of thought.

Raider Nation, gun to your head, what are Murray's stats for tonight's game? TIA.

i have bush too. Im not even considering him until he plays a full game. My choice is between murray or steve smith who has scored 8, 5, 6, and 3.

Starting Murray with no confidence. I'll be back in here crying in about an hour.
Me, too. I always get burned by these TNF games but I have a "gut feeling." I'm sure I'll be joining you in crying when he puts up 4 points in PPR.
