RB Match Ups to Exploit/Avoid Week 3 (1 Viewer)

2. Rover, you're usually pretty alright in the Shark Pool, but it's obvious you are just trying to start trouble with this post...and DD just pruned this thread so why are you doing it? Why do you even click in this thread? I don't really want or expect an answer, you are simply trying to start trouble. We have a lot of fun in this thread, if you don't want to be a part of it that's cool but I don't think most of the people that post in here are going to think much of what you are doing.
actually, I was looking for some information on Jamal Lewis, but the thread is so cluttered with you answering WDIS and arguing with people that I didn't find much useful stuff. It's a shame that a potentially useful thread got so derailed.

MOP........Can you make you wkly posts a little easier to read or scan?

I know it's a little nitpicky
Ya think?
Well Eagle Eye, oddly enough we had someone last night and yesterday do their darndest to create a bad vibe in the thread...those posts were pruned by DD last night. But this same person oddly enough in the past has complained that I throw too many spaces or blank lines in what I write/post so while I will look at what Nemesis is saying, I really doubt the sincerity of the post and I am 75% sure it's another alias for the same poster as yesterday. He just won't be happy till he gets a post up that is not related to any type of football analysis. The thread is only getting between 4,000-6,500 hits a week right now, so while I appreciate anyway to improve upon it, I think most of the readers and posters in here have no problem finding the info they are looking for, and I simply don't have time to start putting the games in bigger letters. I skip 2 lines between the games as it is so people can tell the next game is coming...
MOP: I have absolutely no idea what you are referrring to.....I assume it's pure coincidence b/c this is the first time I've read your wk 3 thread.Besides.......I've been on these boards since the days of Old Yeller as many others can attest to that.

Now regarding my suggestion.............it sounds like you took it the wrong way and totally ignored the fact that I even gave you props in my response. Look, I know I'm not the only one in thinking that there are only so many hours in the week that I can devote to reading about FF and everyone knows that you could spend hours each day on this site. However, I have to be selective........... and so I purposely go out of my way to find your Wkly RBs Thread b/c I find it insightful.......however, I merely proposed a suggestion to make it a little easier to read.........nothing more.

For some reason I thought someone was also doing one on WR and QB's. Is that correct? Could someone please point me in the right direction if that is the case.

Ministry of Pain- Thank you for all of your hard work. I read these every week and they really help in making choices. If I had more knowledge on the subject I would do my own on either TE, or DEF. I might try in the future. Thanks again.

I honestly agree with Nemesis, to an extent. Not that it's formatted poorly, by any stretch of the immagination, it could definitely be made a bit more professional looking and efficient. For example: Perhaps a "summary" where you just list the RBs, and your color coded key in a separate section for those just looking for a quick WSIS. Maybe add each RBs injury status in a quick, consistent, and visible location, etc. Or, links to past week's threads.

Again, these are just suggestions (if you feel like spending the time) that might make one of the best weekly "articles" the best.

All in all, this is always a great read, and maybe if I get time later I'll actually offer up some thoughts on your content. ;)

I took my post down...Rover however couldn't wait to jump on it. We had a bunch of BS in here last night, I rethought what I posted and removed it.

How's this about me? I'm just asking that you try to stay on topic. Try to find anything I've said that differs from your own guidelines. You want to run a WDIS thread, take it to the ACF, chief.

Make a report of it. Maybe the mods will take it under advisement.
You're a bit touchy. Seriously, I came in here looking to see if there was any discussion about Lewis; whether the consensus was that last week was an aberration or not. The whole thing was filled with you arguing with people and answering WDIS questions like you've started your own forum. Now I see why. You singled me out in not one but two posts--go find anything I said that wasn't consistent with the "guidelines" that you linked. You've derailed your own thread at least twice now; Dodds already had to clean up your mess.Unless you want to discuss Jamal Lewis, I'm done with you unless you try to call me out again. I've got business to serious.

Screw these guys, great post. If I had followed the advice in this column every week I'd have at least one more win than I do in one league where I benched Jamal. And honestly, what's wrong with this being in the ACF? It would let people like me ask whether you think Deuce or Benson is a better RB2 play this week. Having a tough time with that one...

We can always discuss those things, but what I like to see is someone post their dilema and then offer some of their insight on which way they are leaning.

Well, here it is: Eventually, Payton has to realize that Deuce is the bell cow and Bush is a cop back and slot receiver. However, I have no idea what kind of pressure Payton is to play the media darling/big money player. Deuce isn't near as flashy from a marketing perspective, and I don't know enough about the Saints org. to know if someone is in his ear about that. I think if Deuce sees 20 carries he's a lock for about 85 yards and TD against TEN. However, he's averaging 10 cpg right now, and just because the Saints are tanking doesn't meant that Payton has realized this is the reason. Benson, on the other hand, is going to get 20 cpg, that much is certain. I don't think the Giants D is all that this year but their O certainly is. As much as I hate to say it, the Bears could be down by 14 or more at the half. Running team or not, the way they score points (rarely) means they will rely on Grossman's arm to win it for them, meaning 1) ints that kill drives, and 2) heavy doses of Adrian Peterson in the second half.

So I guess it boils down to betting on the Bears D to keep the game within a TD against Dallas, or Payton pulling his head out of his rear, and I am having a tough time deciding which is more likely.

One gets the majority of the carries, the other doesn't. One is facing a somewhat soft run defense that went out and signed Tank Johnson. But the one that fits that criteria above is not producing very well right now. Might be time to grab the sack and just take the plunge in the Windy City.
