RB Najee Harris, PIT (1 Viewer)

Najee Harris was in a sling yesterday. He finished the game last week and was not wearing a sling after the game so not clear what the issue is.

We should find out more in Tomlin’s press conference at noon today.

FA after this year, could end up in a good situation (DAL?). Good volume back who could produce behind a better online and a more competent offense.
Wouldn’t surprise me if he has a Mixon like career going forward and improved efficiency with the right team. Pass happy neutral offense

That said I am sad he is injured right now. Really hoping he’s good to go vs Colts because he’s getting volume many are envious of

Sources: #Steelers RB Najee Harris, who was seen in the locker room with a sling on his right arm on Monday, is expected to be fine and is likely to be ready for Sunday’s game vs the #Colts. There doesn’t seem to be any concern.

Harris has totaled 239 yards through 3 games for undefeated Pittsburgh.

Sell high.
Why’s that? He got some run blocking for a change

Schedule looks nasty though
He's just not particularly good, they don't play Vegas every week and Jaylen Warren is coming for some more of his touches soon enough.

In Dynasty I'd be looking for an out right now. He went for a 2027 1st in my Dynasty league yesterday before games started.
Amazing to get a first for Najee prior to that game, even if down the road.

Najee has a lot of meh games but every once in a while he runs with an attitude. Yesterday was one of those games.

That is a dreamy trade made by the Najee owner

I would try moving him this week if I had any shares

Perhaps sometimes the potential for losing touches proves as motivation, with Warren returning yesterday. May be a similar situation to what we saw with Swift a few weeks ago with Roschon Johnson breathing down his neck.

He's not going anywhere anytime soon, so Warren guys should just accept it barring injury. What will be interesting is what happens in 2025. Yes, they didn't pick up his 5th year option, but that doesn't mean squat if they resign him anyway.

I don't fancy his chances of getting a meaningful second contract, especially from the Steelers.

Even more so with what appears to be a nice crop of potential rookie runners.

I'm not sure his meh games are lack of attitude. Given the poor o-line play, lack of any downfield passing, and running style, he tends to get bottled up against better defenses.

Najee Harris recorded 21 carries for 102 yards & TD on Sunday night, resulting in his most missed tackles forced on runs this season (7) and his 2nd straight game with positive RYOE (+17).

Harris has amassed +80 RYOE over the last two weeks (2nd in NFL).

I think he's a sell high candidate. I have him in NON-PPR league looking to get a good WR. My other top RB's are Gibbs, Mixon, Hunt

I just think this is the Harris ceiling, He didn't score a TD until week 6 and was lucky to get one in week 7. In non-ppr TD's are huge.

Thoughts on trading him for a solid WR? His value is really high right now

I am not selling him now, but I am a Steelers fan and have always like him, he got saddled with bad QB play and a rebuilding of the OLine. Steelers O might be ready to blast off. IDK what WR you would get for him, that would make a big difference. Najee gets stronger as the season goes on. I'd love to have him as my RB2 right now.
He is playing for a contract too, I expect him to get better each week. I wonder if the Steelers will pay him more than $6M this offseason, which they passed up giving him his 5th year?
All that said, a complete turd next Monday by the offense, and a loss to the Giants is very possible.

If I didn't have 3 other RB's who score TD's I'd hold...Every roster different I guess. watching him weeks 1-5 sucked.. Warren is back in the mix just enough to maybe vulture a few TD's. Again this is non-ppr. one owner is interested in trading Tyreek for him... i have Tua on IR and my other QB is Mahomes

I have NHarris on a two year deal for $8 ($300) and I traded him and a fourth round pick for a first round pick. My season is over at 1-6 and although I like him, but I’ll take the first rounder.

Najee has been on a roll lately. How does he look ROS?

He gets the workload. No game had less than 16 touches. Full speed ahead!
I’m glad he’s in here being talked about.

I’ve been trying to do some research on his rest of season matchups. As I was actually thinking about packaging a deal together where I get a slight upgrade at QB and “downgrade” to Najee. I just can’t seem to pull the trigger on him keeping this up, after looking at his schedule the rest of the season; it’s pretty tough sledding on his defensive matchups.

Najee Harris was a full participant in today's practice, and when I asked him about his lower-body/ankle injury from the Commanders game, he said, "I'm good. I'm good."

So while something could be up with Jaylen Warren's back, Harris is good to go vs. Ravens.

Harris will be 27 in March and we know they didn’t pickup his 5th year option. I’m pretty sure he can do better than peanuts that Pittsburgh will offer to resign him, so I think he’s as good as gone. But Tomlin does like him. I can see the Steelers drafting one in the 3rd or 4th round to mix in with Warren next year.

He’s the top free agent RB on the market. He’s going to sign a good contract. Hopefully it’s somewhere that has an oline that can open a hole.

Assuming Arthur Smith sticks around, I think Patterson likely does too. Not that he'll be a threat to start, but I'd imagine he'll be involved. Warren/C-Patt/day 3 pick?

Najee is interesting, I always thought he was vastly overrated coming out of Alabama (Etienne too, as I thought it was wild either went in round 1) but I think he's been better these last 2 seasons, even as his production/workload have gotten smaller. His receiving ability (or usage) has seemingly disappeared. I think he's the kind of guy who gets a starting job, where he's likely paired with a 3rd down speedster. Probably 50-50 he goes to a better situation. I think he's well below the Barkley/Henry/Jacobs group talent wise. I'd question if he's even on Pollard's level among recent FAs. Maybe he follows the Conner path?

His lack of explosiveness and poor balance and vision is exacerbated by Warren's strength in both of those area's while being so much smaller yet still able to block and pick up blitzers. Warren is who we pay.

Our resurgence in offense if you call it that is due to A Smith, and Russ, Fields and Boswell.

You see what you get in Warren. Name a better '3rd down' back. Just get a complementary bruiser in the 2-4th round.

Conner is a larger version of Warren, a tough and versatile runner with a nose for the endzone. I'd love to have those 2 in the fold.

Najee ran hard this year, and he's a great teamate and all that but he's not it.
