… he’s got the ideal size you’d want in a RB. Whatcha talking about bout?Looks good when he’s given more than a touch here and there. Breaks more tackles than I thought for a dude his size.

215 isn't small, just that he breaks more tackles than it seems like he should imo
Nope. Drafted him early and held all year because I like him.I think maybe you’re just surprised that Rico is good. And that’s ok.

If anyone was curious, Rico Dowdle was averaging 48% of the Cowboys' carries over the course of his first nine games. Pittsburgh was the only week he got more than 57% of the team's carries.
Starting in Washington, this is now his third straight week taking 70%+ of the carries.
Sorry, Jerruh says that's Zeke territory.Yes, he has done very well but is it too much to ask to get across the goalie more.
Anyone feeling good about this week?![]()

Not really if you think about it. Seems like Brooks is out of the equation this year and they just cut Miles Sanders, so they need another guy back there because Chubba can't do it all himself. Sure they could draft an RB later in the draft, but maybe they feel like they'd rather use that draft capital to fill bigger needs and now have a solid proven backup RB in the fold now at a pretty reasonable price.Weird landing spot.
Chuba is actually a guy on my radar for 2025 and this signing IMO helps keep his price quite manageable. Not really if you think about it. Agreed. I think many will look at Dowdle's strong year last year and think a full-fledged RBBC is in store. Which of course could happen, but seems like team brass is committed to Chuba based on that extension they gave him.Chuba is actually a guy on my radar for 2025 and this signing IMO helps keep his price quite manageable. Not really if you think about it. If this deflates Chuba’s price then I’m all for it because I don’t see Dowdle as a threat to Hubbard’s production.Chuba is actually a guy on my radar for 2025 and this signing IMO helps keep his price quite manageable. Not really if you think about it. I'm surprised he didn't have a bigger market. No clue why Dallas didn't keep him rather than signing Javonte. I'd think he'll get at least 40% of the work in Carolina. His production almost mirrored Chubba's last year.
If there is one aspect of Javonte's game that kept him in the lineup last year, it was pass pro. I can't speak to Rico's prowess in this area, but the contract JW signed would seem to indicate DAL is looking at the Day 2 RB market (or even Day 1 - TBD) with an eye on making sure they have someone to keep Dak clean.I'm surprised he didn't have a bigger market. Yeah, fully expecting Dallas to be on someone like Judkins or someone like that on day 2.If there is one aspect of Javonte's game that kept him in the lineup last year, it was pass pro.
