As someone who picked up Dowdle, I'd like to think so, but think it's wishful thinking.Genie's out of the bottle here. Just like with Skattebo/Tracy, there's no going back now. Just a matter of how much change in opportunity share is to come once Chubbard returns.
Think this becomes an annoying RBBC
That would be my guess. Hubbard did really step up in a very lackluster offense last year and got paid. He earned the payday but he also benefited from having no competition whatsoever after Miles Sanders faded out again and Brooks got hurt. Dowdle is considerable competition, so it may make sense for Canales to use both as long as they're healthy and productive. Bummed as a Hubbard owner, but the reality is that things can change quickly.I don't see how it doesn't. Hubbard is a nice back but he's not some elite talent that the team is built around. He stepped up last year and got a payday but that doesn't mean it's his backfield. Things change. Not saying that Hubbard will go on the bench, because he won't but I don't see Hubbard maintaining his 2:1 carry advantage he had to start the season. I definitely think there will be a split to start and the coach will likely see who's running better and act accordingly. that's what I would do.Hubbard owners --> any worries this turns into RBBC when Hubbard returns?
Like I said last page, this is the Panthers here. They WILL find a way to f this up.Panthers HC Dave Canales said “we’ll see” when asked if Rico Dowdle earned the right to be the team’s starting RB going forward.
It's the Panthers. I fully expect them to kill his momentum and force Chuba back in.Insane run. There's no putting this genie back in the bottle. He has to stay the 1a RB moving forward, right?
It's probably going to be similar to Gibbs and Monty in Detroit. Pretty much 50/50 split.Hubbard owners --> any worries this turns into RBBC when Hubbard returns?
I dont know who or what a true RB 1 is or who would make that move.So where are we at here? Best case 50/50 split, possibly 60/40 leaning Rico if Chuba isn't making it happen after a few games? Is the time to sell high on him right now if you can get a true RB1 for him?
I suppose I mean a workhorse type of guy, like Judkins (albeit he is in a crap offense). The Judkins owner may bite on Dowdle.I dont know who or what a true RB 1 is or who would make that move.So where are we at here? I just dont see how this goes back in the bottle until he flops.
They did but they're winning with Dowdle. Chubba seems to me the change of pace type on steroids. And didn't they pay Hubbard a ton last year? IMO if he is healthy, we are looking at 50/50 best case scenario no?
Yes but also isn’t this what Chuba did a year or two ago to get in this spot? None of these guys can sustain this imoIt should be Rico's backfield. Carolina is going to Carolina though...
No. Chuba didn’t have 500 total yards of offense in 2 games.Yes but also isn’t this what Chuba did a year or two ago to get in this spot? None of these guys can sustain this imo

I doubt you would get good value if you try to sell him now. Everyone knows Chubba is coming back and will bake a split into his value. His value will get better if he comes out on a favorable side of the split.
Sounds like an amazing dealI doubt you would get good value if you try to sell him now. Everyone knows Chubba is coming back and will bake a split into his value. His value will get better if he comes out on a favorable side of the split.
Have a trade offer for Judkins straight up in a redraft .5ppr league.

You have to take that. When a ridiculous offer comes your way don't hesitate.I doubt you would get good value if you try to sell him now. Everyone knows Chubba is coming back and will bake a split into his value. His value will get better if he comes out on a favorable side of the split.

Won't be this week. He's gonna have to out-produce Chuba for the next month to beat it into their heads.one series Rico next series Chuba flip flop but I still think all said and done Rico is going to force them to go with him for most runs.
I started both Rico/Chuba in a league &This was expected. Not sure if anyone is surprised.

Bills not playing as well as they should be especially with some key injuries on offense and defense. Allen has not been clicking with the WRs and the defense is vulnerable in the middle. Panthers have played well at home and have a nice MU for their RBs.This is my designated week to lose (JSN, ASRB, D. Adams all on bye), so I'm forced to start Dowdle in the flex unless I get cute and throw Gadsden in there. Here's hoping the touches lean toward Dowdle and he can break some big runs off against this very beatable Bills run D. Panthers overall looking much pluckier than they were given credit for helps, but I'm worried this is the game that forces them to chase points and lose big.
Like Doublemint gum? Double your pleasure, double your fun! Or not so much.I started both Rico/Chuba in a league &This was expected. Not sure if anyone is surprised.
It worked out decently.

It was a BYE issue, and they both got me points that contributed to a W. A lot of the offensive woes were Bryce’s mid play.Like Doublemint gum? Double your pleasure, double your fun! Or not so much.I started both Rico/Chuba in a league &This was expected. Not sure if anyone is surprised.

That's why teams like this suck every single year. So inept.ypc roughly quadruple that of Chuba's but they continue to split. Great coaching on show here.
Let's keep giving the dude averaging 2.8 vs 7.4 the ball. Staggering. Hope they lose 100-3.ZERO touches in the 2nd half, can't make this stuff up.
Probably holding him out of this blow out since he’s their best offensive playerLet's keep giving the dude averaging 2.8 vs 7.4 the ball. Staggering. Hope they lose 100-3.ZERO touches in the 2nd half, can't make this stuff up.

Either that or the coach is just a moronProbably holding him out of this blow out since he’s their best offensive playerLet's keep giving the dude averaging 2.8 vs 7.4 the ball. Staggering. Hope they lose 100-3.ZERO touches in the 2nd half, can't make this stuff up.
For some reason, that didn't occur to me, thanks for the sliver of hope

Not really. I got Dowdle for cheap. He’s been awesome, and is clearly the better player than Hubbard. Great spot to be in.Total FF nightmare for anyone with Hubbard/Dowdle or both
