They go away from him too quickly.

Didn’t get a touch on the drive after his long TD other than a play called back by penalty to make it 1st and 5.

Barely go any touches on their last drive to try and milk the clock and get past the two minute warning. Nope. Deep shot to brown and a slant to smith that wasn’t caught…

Barely got any touches in overtime, when I felt like they should be riding him and playing safe with the ball.

So you are saying that... by watching the Eagles for a few hours on the weekend, you know better about the usage and status of Saquon Barkley and Iggles offense. Basically, all the guys that are around him all week and in practice are idiots, and if they would just pick up the phone and call you... they would have won that game last night?

I’d usually say no. But, since I single-handedly willed his 50+ yard TD in the game thread last night… I’m gonna say YES!

Seriously, well... somewhat seriously, Barkley doesn't look like he has the same burst as 2024. Still very good, but his stride looks a little shorter... more picking his way through traffic as opposed to blowing past it... and getting tackled 1 on 1? Saquon?

We all know the heavy carry rule for fantasy... big dropoff the following season. In Barkley's case it was compounded by the Eagles success. While all the other elite RBs were sitting on beaches and resting... Saquon was still playing football for another month.

I don’t expect any reverse hurdling defenders coming up down the stretch.
