RB thoughts.... (1 Viewer)

This is in a standard league, so really chasing carries and potential TDs here.

I need to start 3.

Najee atBAL - don't like the matchup much but he's been carrying the load as of late.

Montgomery @DET - decent matchup, indoors... but Fields factor plus Herbert is back

Haskins vs. DAL - decent matchup, Henry is doubtful to suit up... do I swing for the fences here?

Robinson vs. CLE - best matchup of these guys... I think he's a for-sure option

Moss atNYG - decent matchup but will IND abandon the run?

White vs. CAR - bad matchup and really not too valuable without the PPR

----

Right now I have Robinson, Haskins and Montgomery plugged in.... but I feel uneasy about leaving Najee on the bench for some reason.

I have a real shot to win, but don't think "playing it safe" is the way to go. I need upside.

Thoughts?

Here are my thoughts and the order I would rank them:

  1. Robinson: Easily the #1 for me. Great matchup , Washington has to win, and he has been getting the use. Gibson also dinged.
  2. Montgomery: Good matchup but am worried about Herbert/Fields taking touches away. He is just better than the rest of the options
  3. Najee: Pitt is leaning on him. He has looked good the last few games. It's Sunday night to give you some hope if you need points. I am most confident in his role from the remaining choices
  4. White: He will get touches and has a shot at a TD or two. He is ahead of the other guys because I know his role.
  5. Haskins: I hate the matchup, Tenn doesn't care about the game. Willis is at QB so Dal doesn't have to worry about the pass so box will be stacked. I have no idea how they will actually use him. My guess is they try and feature Willis to see what he can do in a game that doesn't matter.
  6. Moss: Who knows what the Colts are up to and the NYG must win. They also have a pretty good defense.
