RB Trey Benson, ARZ (5 Viewers)

Benson will have the rb job all to himself when he returns. Hell get 18-20 touches a game..

Every player gets hurt.. Just think Arizona wants to make sure he's 100% instead of rushing him back if he needs another week.
I didn't think he got a ton the game he took over. thought they had someone else in there a bunch but can't really recall.

He got 8 of the 12 non QB rushing attempts and 5 receptions. He felt like the clear lead back in a game Seahawks really put the hammer down until the 4th quarter.
Game script felt like they were down 3 scores most of the game.

I thought Demercado looked good last night.
Same. I guess my thinking is that at 3-5, Benson is the guy you ride to see if he is your guy next year. Demercado and Knight are not. Imo
it looks like Conner is still under contract next year, unless he gets cut, which I think is unlikely. I know he's getting long in the tooth and even if he's back next year he might not be as effective

I think for this year you probably roll out a Benson/Demercado duo

He’s coming back the week after my team that I sunk 80% of my FAAB is eliminated.
It was a good move at the time. Was the clear cut unchallenged bellcow RB in a decent offense. No one could have predicted that injury in his first start.

I’d be punching air too, if I didn’t trade away Pearsall, just before that first Benson start.

If he's not back next week,I'm going to be screwed at rb.
What are they saving him for, next year.

I could of used him this week too..

****crickets****

Kinda odd in today's age of news to hear ABSOLUTELY nothing on an NFL injury. Cardinals don't have ANY beat writers? Just complete silence. So odd. Not even a peep out of a 3rd cousin saying he was jogging at the family barbecue?

I think I have to drop him for E Wilson. I need to win out to make the playoffs and can't wait on him
Jacobs has a bruise, and may not miss any time - at least that’s what I saw last.
I thought I heard good chance he misses a game or 2
GREEN BAY – Packers running back Josh Jacobs will not go on injured reserve due to his knee injury and "potentially" could be available this week against the Vikings.
Head Coach Matt LaFleur gave the update on Jacobs' health Monday, saying the Pro Bowl back sustained a contusion to his knee when it slammed into the MetLife Stadium turf as he was tackled on a goal-line run. Jacobs didn't return to the game, having rushed seven times for 40 yards in the 27-20 win over the Giants.
Monday’s update. I’ve seen nothing saying he could miss 2 games.

"sir, this is a Wendy's"

Today is a big day. We need at a minimum a limited "off to the side" practice today.
His 21 day practice window is being opened today
Hell ya. Didn't see that till now.

Good to see some good news. I probably won't start him this week if he plays, but it would be some welcome depth down the stretch.

Me too. I know nothing about the play except for what I’ve read here so I’m blindly optimistic.

I got one dynasty team, where I have never said or given any indication I was shopping him, though I did start a rebuild a few weeks ago and have traded off most of my valuable older players, where in the past week 4 different teams have made offers for him. Not an overly active league so kind of unusual to see so much interest in a player.

Only one offer was credible, and I think most people would have accepted it and I did have to think on it but passed, was a playoff teams first, currently projected as pick 10 but with a range of 7-12.

I think if he comes back with no physical limitations, with the way this offense looks under Brissett, he's got league winning potential or in my case pick 1.01 winning potential.

"Arizona also signed practice squad running back Jermar Jefferson to the active roster and filled his spot with running back Sincere McCormick, per team reporter Darren Urban. Those moves suggest that Trey Benson, who is on injured reserve with his practice window opened, is not ready to be activated and will not play on Sunday against the Jaguars." - ProFootballRumors

Major, major caveat: Bam's been hurt also, so it could be for him. But Jermar is intriguing. I'd just stay away from this backfield until Benson comes back. aCaarter is not even JAG and Bam never was either. Demercado, criminy, we coulda used a few spot starts outta you.
