Been able to watch a good handful of his carries at RB last few weeks. Only worry I'd have is he runs hard, takes huge hits, and is a big target. He looks really good back there though and runs well between the tackles.Davis limped off towards end of game too. Not sure CP84 would be as effective as the every down RB though. I like the looks he gets at WR too.

Yep. Let's see how it works! Mike Davis can just rest for a week or two. That's what I would worry about too. He runs pretty violent and is a big target
I do not want him most of the time at RB taking big hits and losing burst and effectiveness. I do want him in his pass catching role out of the backfield but today thay seemed to be a bust. It’s good that Miami tried to focus on Patterson and were beat by Pitts and Gage. Cordarrelle Patterson caught 6-of-6 targets for 126 yards in the Falcons' Week 9 win over the Saints, adding nine rushes for 10 additional yards.
With the Falcons staring down the barrel of another one of their storied hysterical chokes, Patterson came to the rescue with a 64-yard reception down the right sideline with the Falcons trailing 25-24 with 1:01 remaining. Clearly underestimated by CB Paulson Adebo — he must not play much fantasy football — C-Patt simply ran by the third-round rookie. In addition to setting up the game-winning field goal, C-Patt's grab gave him his most receiving yards in a game since 2013, and his most yards from scrimmage of 2021. He has been the platonic ideal of a position-less "offensive weapon" this season. He will remain in the low-end RB1 mix for Week 10 vs. Dallas.

Come on. This season is just annoying.Well that sucks...

#Falcons RB Cordarrelle Patterson is still having his sprained ankle evaluated, but it doesn’t sound optimistic for Thursday night against the #Patriots, per source. Could be a couple weeks for one of this season’s most electric players.
I think he’s at practice today.Well, that is the nail in my season's coffin in the league I care about the most. Fiddlesticks.
Just read that as well. Hope he's OK, he's been my savior this seasonI think he’s at practice today.
Same. I have him in both of my Yahoo leagues, and the flexibility he’s provided me being able to start him in the RB or WR slot depending on the need that week has been invaluable.Just read that as well. Hope he's OK, he's been my savior this season
Yup. Rest up CPatt. NE would probably scheme you up anyways.Rather see him sit this week and be 100% for the fantasy stretch run, but if he's at practice today, he's likely testing it out to try to play tomorrow.
Falcons HC Arthur Smith said that Cordarrelle Patterson will be a game-time decision against the Patriots.
Patterson has practiced all week and has a realistic chance of suiting up, despite the short turnaround for the Falcons in Week 11. Tom Pelissero previously reported that Patterson could be dealing with a multi-week injury, so that the fact that Patterson even has a chance to play Thursday is a positive development. Patterson will be a boom/bust RB2 if available, with his level of involvement a major question mark. Wayne Gallman will likely see a bigger role if Patterson is inactive. Mike Davis has a chance to be the biggest beneficiary but the team may be losing confidence in the seventh-year journeyman.

Good question and I face a similar situation. I have been using Patterson at WR over Tee Higgins and Cooper. WR is the one position I actually have talent and decisions. CP has been an easy decision this season until this week due to his ankle. As much as everyone has already passed on C Patterson playing well this week, a short week, and no one really giving him any love yet...what if he's active and a go? He's practiced all week. What if that ankle was simply a tweak and he's good to go? FBG say if active then ya gotta play him just like you would. My team has gone from being in trouble at RB to now having to decide to play Cordelle or Rhamondre tonight, or both.
The easy conservative play if Cordelle is active is to sit him and watch the game. A lil risky play I would think, but, I'm not sure about that. It's simply a speculative bias because it first appeared he would miss time.Good question and I face a similar situation. I have been using Patterson at WR over Tee Higgins and Cooper. It did seem like a risky play that I’m going to avoid. The easy conservative play if Cordelle is active is to sit him and watch the game. A lil risky play I would think, but, I'm not sure about that. It's simply a speculative bias because it first appeared he would miss time.
Also if the Falcons gets posterized by the Pats they’ll pull him.A tweak and he's done for the night. I have minimal confidence starting him, even though I'm down to backups to my backups at RB. I will make the final decision tonight.
So far I will most likely play Rhamondre Stevenson over Cordelle, and I also must choose between Cordelle or Golladay / Gronk on MNF in the Flex spot. Leaning Golladay as of right now. Also if the Falcons gets posterized by the Pats they’ll pull him.
That said my team is so screwed that if he starts I have to play him.
I like Stevenson very much even with Harris. I would also like Cordelle over Toney if he's a full go. Tough call, but Toney is a bit of a long shot.Yeah, I'm in two minds. I'd rather not do, it's inherently risky, but it's start him or start both of Toney and Stevenson, both of whom are also inherently risky. With no big upside players on my bench I'll probably sit tonight
I'll be wrong -- I always seem to be when I weigh in on lineup decisions that aren't mine -- but those two seem like some pretty good options and a good plan. He "tweaked" his ankle. I think Jene Bramel will tell you that the likelihood of "tweaking" that ankle again goes way up the next week and on short rest. For now I am sitting him for Cooks at WR and Michael Carter at flex.
Its only Tuesday. He was limited last week, so in theory, he should be better this week. I'd bet he's either limited or full tomorrow. Not getting any updates regarding CP which is worrisome.
Anyone??
He almost played last week , he was on the field jogging and kind of cutting from what i saw. Crossing fingers hereIts only Tuesday. He was limited last week, so in theory, he should be better this week. I'd bet he's either limited or full tomorrow.
Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) remained "limited" on Thursday.
Patterson also got in a slate of limited days last week before failing to suit up on Thursday Night Football, but he seems on track to return against the Jags. Absent a "full" day on Friday, however, we can't quite yet take his status for granted. If C-Patt goes, he will immediately return to the top 20 at running back. It's a dire week for the position, and the Falcons are desperate for high-value touches.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle, questionable) will be a game-time decision.
RapSheet said Patterson is "feeling much better this week," but the Falcons are "making sure they are smart about it." Patterson has been trending toward playing all week, suggesting he is on the right side of questionable, but his name will be one to watch when inactives are released. The good news is the Falcons are in the early slate, so Patterson's status will be official before lineups lock.
