funny thing is looks like they play worse against the run @ home or maybe the fact thats CJ MJD Bradshaw running the ball who knows. but i like best matchup. havent seen him run lately.

Seattle (5-4) at New Orleans (6-3) (-11.5) (44)

The Seahawks could save a lot of money and make some needy children in Seattle happy if they would just stay home. Seriously, this is going to be a debacle for them. Saints have had a week off and are finding themselves just in time for a big playoff run and defense of their title.

Marshawn Lynch – Not a snowballs chance in hell he makes the top10 this week.

New Orleans RBs – I have no idea who is starting and who could play an entire game for them right now. I would take a wait and see approach but I would start any Saints WR you have on your team this weekend. Henderson is due for one of those 3/100/TD type games at home.

Final Score: New Orleans 48…Seattle 16
I think Bush has a big day in his return and he will see the most work of the Backs. I also think they will play a good bit of Ivory because until PT gets healthy that is the main combo. Why do you like Henderson in particular if you dont mind me asking.
I'm thinking about rolling with Bush, but hime being still limited has me very worried and what's to say that he will be up to game speed in his first game back? Last year he had only 1 carry for 0yds and 4 rec for 28yds in his first game back from injury.

I plan on starting Thomas Jones/Keiland over Snelling and Ivory .75PPR this week.

Can't trust Ivory after initial success with Julius Jones stealing carries.

Snelling will probably get 30 points on my bench again...

I'm thinking Keiland gets the nod for sure (if Portis doesn't play).

I'm thinking KC runs all over Arizona and Jones gets in the endzone at least once.

If Portis plays, I don't think he'll be 100% and will barely get any carries. If Portis comes back, future Snelling/Keiland decisions will be made based on Torain's health + matchups.

I am wrestling over Barber, McFadden, Reggie Bush.

I think I want to wait to see how much they use Reggie and how effective he is before I jump back on his bandwagon.

Barber looked good last week with Garrets "new" approach and he has a decent matchup.

McFadden seems unbenchable, but it is PIT "D"

I also have Torrain, but not trusting that after a 0 last week.

I'm leaning toward Run DMC at this point unless anyone else has any great wisdom I am missing

I'm starting MJD at RB1 and debating over Best and Moreno for RB2. The matchup favors Best but Moreno finally looks healthy while Best clearly is not. Tough call. Oh it's ppr which also has me leaning towards Best.

My backs are Hillis,Blount,Best,Moreno & Tolbert. Hillis starts no matter who they play. I was considering Moreno but the Chargers are decent against the run and still shaky about his health. Best has disappointed since early in the year and probably because of his 'turf Toes'. I think Blount has an average day against my Niners. I go against a 11-0 team this week so I need backs that are a good bet to score. I have a lot of confidence in Hillis so my other starter will be TOLBERT. He's scored in 5 of the last 6 games and I think he's a pretty good bet to score at least 1 td this week against Denver's 30th ranked run defense. He should get the bulk of the workload with Matthews injured. No doubt Rivers is gonna throw so S.D. could go up big early which would benefit Tolbert not to mention he should get some goal line opps. I believe Tolbert would be a good sleeper back this week. I could definitely see him getting 20 carries for 60-80 yds. rushing and a good shot a 2 td's. What say you guys?

Does anyone disagree with the assessment above? You always want to ride the hot hand, but this could easily be similar to his 13-46 line against ATL. SF is also vulnerable against passes to RB, meaning perhaps a bigger role for Cadillac.

LaDainian Tomlinson/Shonn Greene – Did I read that these guys are going to get more of a split down the stretch? I can imagine the headache this is going to cause owners. I believe LT is still the guy who will rack up more but I also think they want to keep him fresh for the playoffs and I see him limited to probably 15 carries and under when they can for the rest of the way.
Greene is the Jet RB to own down the stretch. It started last week and it will continue through the end of the year.

I have Best and Moreno in PPR and will be going Moreno. I think with Royal probably out, I like that they will move Moreno out at WR. He caught one or two of his TD's from that position in past games. Besides if Denver gets down, you could pick up 4-5 extra catches if SD goes into a prevent defense late in the game. I even like Moreno over Stephen Jackson this week.

Appreciate the fact that you're willing to go out on a limb, but can't see putting Best in Green and not McFadden. I understand facing Pittsburgh is a much different thing than facing Dallas, but BJGE did very well against the Steelers last week, and I have to think the Raiders will throw a lot of short passes to McFadden. Best, on the other hand, looked awful against the Bills last week. He's on my team, so I'd certainly love to see a big game, but I wish don't have the confidence in him that you do.

I agree about Tolbert. I am starting him over McCoy and Blount. My other starter is Turner. I feel better about Tolbert's chances than any of my four RBs.

McFadden:

Personally.. got to ride out McFadden with Gore. Traded away all my RB depth.

What I see from McFadden is 61 rushing yards, 4 catches for 27 yards. No TD's. Obviously I'm hoping for better but he will be a big part of the Steelers defensive game plan, where BJGE likely was not.

12-13 in ppr.

Thing is, BJGE has Tom Brady and Oakland has....who's starting this week? If I'm Pittsburgh, I take my chances with the Oakland aerial offense and stop the run. That's not as clear cut when Pittsburgh was facing NE. My dilemma is WDIS opposite Bradshaw in a PPR league....McCoy or Best? I'm leaning towards Best, but McCoy has been more consistent week to week.
