RBs to Exploit/Avoid Week 6 (1 Viewer)

MoP, not reconsidering your take on Bush? If he isn't a top 10 RB this week, I'll wear whatever sig you want me to. For one week. You have good company though, Dodds isn't a believer either.
What if San Fran opens up a can of whoop on Oakland? Is Gadkowski starting? Vegas seems convinced that San Fran is going to win in a blowout, they're begging us to take Oakland and the points. Seems really weird, the line anyways. If Oakland has to throw a lot does that play into Michael Bush well?
I don't bet the games but I have a hard time predicting SF to win this game in a clear blowout. I'll be surprised if this game isn't fairly close for 3 quarters as each team tries to be more incompetent than the other.

I just read on PFT that Jason Campbell is starting.
I knew Campbell was going to start. Even if SF gets out to a lead, I still see a minimum of 23 touches for Bush, if the game stays somewhat close, 30 touches. FBG's SoS says SF is amoung the five worst FF defenses against RB's. SF is back on it's heels, although I expect them to win this one at home. It won't help if the boo birds get down on Smith early though. If OAK can get Smith and the 9e's to turn the ball over... could be a multiple TD week for Bush.

Well written as usual, MoP. And I agree with you on Ronnie Brown. I think that guy is going to really put up some big numbers down the stretch. He's a great "Buy Low" candidate at this point.
I have Brown and am thinking about sitting him this week. Haven't been thrilled with his performance to date and then I looked at his stats; he has a 4.6ypc on the year. That's not bad. Do the stats not tell the whole story in this case? Is he playing worse than the yards per carry would lead me to believe? I haven't been able to watch MIA this year so I am in the dark a bit.
Much of Ronnie Brown's "problem" can be attributed to horrific play-calling by OC Dan Henning. Instead of riding the strength of the team (the running game) offensively, he tried to put everything on Chad "couldn't look off a free safety if you paid him to" Henne. Henne's bad INTs will force Tony Sporano to re-think their offensive scheme and become a run-first team. Sure, he'll share touches with Ricky Williams (55-45 I'd say), but he'll be effective as a legit #2 FF RB.

For those that were wondering about Brady winning 22 straight regular season home games, the record is 25 games by Favre (95-98).

OK MoP... what's my sig?
Don't worry about it, we all get 'em wrong. I was far from perfect. Michael Bush/Oak right? Jason Campbell makes that offense terrible. Gradkowski has a much better grip on it and makes his receivers look light years better. Instead of a sig, the next time you are anywhere checking out in line and there is a Ronald McDonald house, breast cancer fund, whatever just pop the loose change in there.
