Realistic Harry Douglas Outlook? (1 Viewer)

I noticed Harry Douglas will probably see a little more action this week due to Jenkins being out...and it got me thinking. I liked Douglas going into the year, but Jenkins has good value to the Falcons due his run-blocking ability, which I think hinders his Douglas a little bit.

However, if Douglas starts today, and this season well, will that vault him into the #2 WR role in Atlanta?

What's his skill set/role in the offense now? Is he more of a possession receiver? Is he better in the slot?

I guess I'm just trying to get a feel for Douglas' potential if he did become THE legit #2 WR in Atlanta, and what the odds of that happening are....REALISTICALLY (no rose colored glasses)???

Every year there are 5-6 guys like Douglas who come out of nowhere to post top-30 stats. Why not Douglas? Jenkins has been a disappointment the last few years and it's not like Roddy White is Randy Moss. There will be plenty of catches to go around for Douglas.

I'm thinking 70/900/7 is realistic.

I liked him before Jenkins went down. I think he can end up as the #3 target in Atlanta this year. If Ryan puts has as good of a season as i think, he could be a top 30 WR.

I like him today for 5/67
