Sorry if this is a noob question... I don't understand the %'s..

I thought AD was pretty close to the consensus #1 pick.. how do you go up from #1? is that (fake data) 78% were previously taking him #1 and now 90% are (+12%)?

Hard to say if the moves are a surprise without knowing the ADP movement (i.e. Morgan was ADP 3.08 and now is 2.04)... but a bit surprising Romo drops and Crayton gains...

No prob and good question. His average draft position is now at 1.14 on average, thus the #1 player taken. Small move but shows that Favre is having a positive impact on fantasy players opinions.

look at it as overall pick, not pick number. He is average pick number 1.14, MJD is 1.76, the next guy is overall 3.21 it is overall pick, not (round)(dot)(Pick)

There are lots of factors to keep in mind when looking at ADP, of course, which is why it's usually not the most useful piece of information.

For example, league scoring rules, number of teams, etc., can greatly influence a player's draft position, so when you combine the results of thousands of mock drafts or whatever, you get a muddled idea of a player's actual ADP (as it relates to your particular league).

Also keep in mind that over the last two weeks, and as the preseason continues to wear on, the ADP should begin to transition from sharkish to guppyish, for lack of better terms. Holding all other variables constant, of course, people who are drafting in mid-July are probably your more hardcore, knowledgeable fantasy players, and as August moves along the results should include your more noobish drafters, for whatever that's worth.

On the other hand there is a lot more information out there. Even hardcore sharks are guessing a lot more in July than late August, and with Injuries, moves up the depth chart, suspensions, performances in preseason games sharks and guppies drafting should get sharper.
