Recent Guilty Pleasure Movies (2012 onward) (1 Viewer)

Most of my "guilty pleasure" movies tend to be from the 1980's or 1990's, with a few Will Farrell movies and blaxploitation flicks thrown in.  Was wondering what recent films ought to be incorporated here.

(By my definition, I'm looking at films that, while being pretty far away from my Top 100, still have a fun factor and you don't mind catching one partway through or for 15 minutes or so while waiting for something else)

The only recent ones that come to mind for me are - John Wick, John Wick 2, Knock Knock, and Keanu (see a theme here?).  I think Get Out will make it into this rotation pretty soon too.

I think guilty pleasure is something you love, but might get #### if a buddy walked in and caught you watching it - something like Pitch Perfect 2 or the Sex and the City movie.

Agree. John Wick is one of the best action movies of the last decade. People are talking about Get Out potentially winning some Oscars.

For sure.  I also googled 'guilty pleasure' and it's basically just described most of the time in a same way we talk about underrated movies.  I always just put another level of embarrassment or shame to it that you love it. You know, i  the way that I love Dawson's Creek.

Thought the ending was terrible but I liked the majority of this movie. Was one of my first thoughts. 

Also didn't think the first divergent was terrible.
