Reddick or Bucannon (1 Viewer)

Whose the one to own?  This will be my 2nd year doing IDP and I think I'm learning more but I honestly can't understand half the talks about these defensive players.  This situation seems fluid enough to be a worthwhile conversation though so I'm hoping to get the discussion going.  I know Reddick is filling in for Bucannon as he's hurt right now and he might even miss the start of the season it seems like.  How do you see this playing out?  I do own both as it relates to the AC here ha.

I think Bucannon has proven he is a quality IDP player when on the field.  He makes plays all over but his size and recent injury string may hint that his usefulness may be short lived.  Reddick has a chance to be a quality IDP player but needs to prove it.  I would say if you have quality starters and can take the risk I would roll with Reddick for sure.  If you needed more of a high floor I would watch the injury reports and let that tell me whether Bucannon is worth going after.

Will be drafting Reddick.

Know he'll get the "splash" opportunities.  I also believe he will be allowed to play freely more and Deone will have more set responsibilities. I like the inside 'backers with freedom to attack and play instinctual, younger players typically get to do just that. Deone coming off ankle surgery, should be fine but still a consideration after not finishing the season and having surgery in May.  112 tackles and then pro-rated another 112 tackles is a pretty solid look into what Buchanon delivers... and now does Reddick steal more tackles away then Kevin Minter? Absolutely. I want a shot at 125+ tackles. I want Reddick.
