Redskins Depth Chart Updated: Torain #1 RB (1 Viewer)

http://www.redskins.com/team/depth-chart.htmlBefore the depth chart was updated this week, it listed Hightower as #1, Helu as #2, and Torain as #3. Now Torain is #1 and Helu #2. Maybe this sheds some light into who will be starting tomorrow?
Doubtful, we won't know until the game starts. Even if Torain starts it does not guarantee that he gets more touches than Helu. Repeat this process through the end of the season.

FWIW they also have Santana Moss Listed as WR1 and he's out 5-7 with hand surgery...

If Shanahan said he's not announcing who's starting what makes you think that they would announce it on the team web-page. This is toying with the public.opposition at it's finest.

If anything this makes it more likely Helu gets the bulk of the carries.

Never listen to a Shanahan when RB Depth is on the line.

Honestly, I think he probably made a decision tonight based on what he saw in practice this week. Probably told the player today.

But no way he declares himself publicly before he absolutely has to. Why would he? Better to screw with the opposition.

But I am guessing they split the carries regardless and whoever is hot is who he will go with. Kind of just like he says he is managing the RBs. Starter is just a title.

I'm starting him tomorrow out of necessity. But I don't feel good about it. And I can't say this news really makes me feel any better.

Shanahan's been giving us the finger all along--I'm not about to believe he's above giving his finger to this new depth chart.

Agreed. A start guarantees exactly one snap. Nothing more. Anything can happen after that.

I didnt realize it until tonight how useful the official teams depth charts were until tonight, so I just wanted to update you guys on some cutting edge info so you didnt miss out either:

According to Panthers.com, DeAngelo Williams is starting for the Panthers tomorrow. Id be surprised if Cam still gets all the GL carries with this breaking news. My link

Also, I just found out that Felix Jones is still starting for the Cowboys thanks to their team's website. I was getting worried for a minute that he wouldnt be getting a lot of touches tomorrow. I feel much better now My link

This might be the most alarming of them all. Thomas Jones will be starting for the Chiefs this week. Ive heard a lot about this JACKIE BATTLE guy, but he's only 3rd on their depth chart on KCChiefs.com so I wouldnt worry about that no name stealing carries from TJ My link

Hopefully you read this pertinent info before kickoff tomorrow

Some depth charts are stale. But changes to them are usually significant, i.e. Torain being elevated above Helu, Dion Lewis being elevated above Ronnie Brown, etc.And Thomas Jones is still starting for the Chiefs.

thank you! this post will make for a better Sunday - I have to start reading these depth charts on Saturday!!

Felix Jones is starting tomorrow - who knew?

I can't believe people still pretend to understand what Shanahan is planning to do with his RBs. Here is something to use as a guide everytime you consider a Shanny RB:

- Buy the lowest-price Shanny RB you can find. It doesn't matter where that player sits on the depth chart.

- Wait until Shanny gives that player meaningful carries for 1-2 games. Then trade him away.

- Now find the next guy with the lowest price. Ideally it is someone who is either an undrafted rookie, or a former starter recently bumped down to 3rd or 4th on the depth chart.

- Wait until Shanny gives that player meaningful carries for 1-2 games. Then trade him away......

Hopefully everyone sees a pattern....

The best thing about that depth chart is that while they flipped helu and torain, they also list Santana Moss as the WR1, even though he's out 5-7 weeks with a broken hand.More proof that they are literally ####### with us...
