Looking like a steal in the 8th round of my draft.Beautiful 58 yard cut back run by Hightower. Showed a lot of speed. Hightower 4-61 yards, 1 td on first drive...
After tonight no one will be getting hightower in the 8th round, this guy is moving up like a rocketLooking like a steal in the 8th round of my draft.Beautiful 58 yard cut back run by Hightower. Showed a lot of speed. Hightower 4-61 yards, 1 td on first drive...![]()
I snagged him as my 4th behind Rice, Greene and Fred Jackson in a 16 teamer. Loved it then and I'm loving it now.I took Hightower as my 4th RB behind A. Foster, J. Best and Daniel Thomas in a 10 team PPR redraft. I think after that run I can say he was a steal to have as my 4th RB. Man that guy is just underrated all the time.

5. Take four drinks anytime ‘Doc’ uses his favorite phrase… “manhood issue”
Doc has already referred to young Redskins as "puppies". Does that count for something?Don't forget to play the Doc Walker drinking game.

I'm a fan of Kyle's offense. One reason is because of its aggressiveness. That screen to Helu was NOT aggressive.Another field goal after a 1st and goal inside the 5...![]()
I only wonder if they'd have run that play in the regular season...I'm a fan of Kyle's offense. One reason is because of its aggressiveness. That screen to Helu was NOT aggressive.Another field goal after a 1st and goal inside the 5...![]()
Pre-season friend. Just getting a look at all the possibilities.Although Hightower is looking very, very strong.Who knows who the sleeper is at this point was Shanahan. Hightower looked great on the first drive and hasn't seen the field since.
No starter has been named. Most believe Hightower will win (if he hasn't already) the starting job.The plan was to give Royster lots of work last week and Helu this week.Is Torain not still considered there starter?Just wondering, because regardless the guys Im targetting there are Hightower and Helu. Helu is clearly their #3, right? I was surprised Royster had so many more touches than him last week.
Thanks, especially for the 2nd part because that makes a lot more sense. No starter has been named. Dont know about that, Grossman looked pretty good last week vs a Steelers D that just made Vick look like a high schooler.Beck also has gotten over 200 yards of run support tonight, that might make it easier to throw against them, just a little.Beck vs grossman battle is over. Well not officially, but you can all but seal this one up folks beck was sharp tonight and already was shannys boy
Beck didn't even attempt a pass over 15 yards. Dump-offs galore piggy-backing off a crazy good run game. This isn't over yet.Beck vs grossman battle is over. Well not officially, but you can all but seal this one up folks beck was sharp tonight and already was shannys boy
Rex was very sharp last week. Neither has hit a deep ball and both have failed to consistently score TDs.Rex was more decisive last week than Beck was this week. Beck held onto the ball longer and that led to a couple sacks and the need to make plays out of the pocket. Of course, it's possible Beck had nowhere to go with the ball and maybe the right play was to hold onto the ball and keep the play alive. But, it's also possible that he just missed some plays.Beck vs grossman battle is over. But remember last week he had 10 carries for 44 yards against the Steelers 1st and 2nd Team. So I think this kid is legit. Steelers aren't any slouches on tackling like the Colts are.The Colts defense is really that bad. Not that Hightower is not a good pick, but temper it a bit.

An offensive line that's not overly big and that runs zone blocking plays is going to get stuffed a lot near the goal line. That problem will continue all year.I'm a fan of Kyle's offense. I was at the game so it's hard to say for sure but to me he looks slower then Addai (maybe) and Brown (definitely) but also more capable of moving the pile and breaking tackles then those two. Could vulture some goal line TDs from Addai. I wouldn't expect him to be much more then a short yardage back this season. Donald Brown is also currently playing Addai of him from what I can tell.how's Delone Carter look?
