Reggie Brown as the #1 receiver on the Eagles (1 Viewer)

Last year he played 2nd fiddle to Donte Stallworth until of course Stallworth pulled a "Donte Stallworth" and got hurt. There were 5 games where Reggie Brown was the @1 receiver on the Eagles and I have to think that he showed Andy Reid and the organization enough since they did not actively pursue another WR this offseason and did not make a huge push to resign Stallworth.

@Dal 3/17/0

ATL 0/0/0 (not sure if he played)

NYG 7/73/0

@NO 3/76/0

in the 5 games that Reggie Brown and McNabb played but Stallworth was out.. he had `12/446/3

which is more than half his total yards 816 and almost half his season TD's (8)

McNabb looked OK in his last preseason game and apparently his tunnel vision towards the #1 receiver last year showed that R.Brown could be considered a very solid WR2 in any league

I guess Curtis is making minimum wage . . .

That's what I was thinking. I checked the date on this post to see if it was before the Curtis signing. On Friday night, McNabb looked to Curtis often and they looked to work well together. So far, he looks like a real good fit.

I'm hoping by "OK" you mean McNabb looked healthy. As far as passing goes, he looked great. Gotta disagree on what you said about tunnel vision. Tunnel vision toward the #1 receiver? Who's that? Westbrook? Brown? Stallworth? Smith? The ball gets spread around so much I don't understand how you could possibly say he had tunnel vision. Last year Westbrook was targeted 72 times in 9 games with McNabb. That's 8 times per game on average.Brown was targeted 64 times in 10 games with McNabb. 6.4 times per game on avaerage.Stallworth was targeted 53 times in 6 games with McNabb. That's 8.8 times per game on average.Smith was targeted 62 times in 10 games with McNabb. 6.2 times per game.I definitely wouldn't consider that tunnel vision. There's a 0.8 difference in targets per game from the most targeted to the second most targeted.Also, Stallworth may have gotten more looks on a per game basis, but Brown didn't play second fiddle to him. Gotta go to the guy that's open, and it was often Stallworth last year. Brown lined up as the #1 though and was listed as such on the depth chart as well. It was really a 1a 1b sorta thing. No real second fiddles. And no, Brown didn't play in the Atlanta game. If you look at his stats it will say he did, and he started the game, but he didn't. They played something like the first play or first series and then received word that they won the division. The second stringers played the rest of the game.

I like Reggie Brown

I think McNabb likes Curtis and Baskett more than Brown.

It's hard to tell on limitted game reps and could easily be avoiding a CB but....
