Reggie Brown - Doubtful (1 Viewer)

Brown inactive according to PE.com.

Wide receiver Reggie Brown was inactive for Sunday's season opener against the St. Louis Rams. Without Brown, due to a hamstring, and Kevin Curtis (sports hernia), the Eagles started Hank Baskett and rookie DeSean Jackson. Jackson was the fourth rookie to start on opening day in the Andy Reid era (guard John Welbourn, defensive tackle Corey Simon and guard Shawn Andrews) and the first rookie wide receiver to start on opening day since Calvin Williams in 1990.

Eagles declared WR Reggie Brown inactive for Week 1. Hank Baskett will start at split end with DeSean Jackson at flanker.

Brown was listed as doubtful and missed practice Thursday and Friday, so no one should've been looking for him to play. Jackson makes an interesting start in return-yardage leagues, but we'd watch how he fares in normal settings rather than use him. He is a rookie wide receiver, after all. Sep. 7 - 11:47 am et

They're idiots, start Jackson with confidence today.

Maybe it's because I want to be different, maybe it's because I went to Michigan, but I think Jason Avant could make a minor splash today. Doesn't have breakaway speed but has a knack for finding space and has good hands.
