Reggie Bush @ Dallas this Sunday (1 Viewer)

LHUCKS

Footballguy
I'll go 110 total yards and .5 TDs(50% chance he gets a TD)

I think Brees can move the offense to some degree against the solid Dallas D.

Seeing as most players who are young in the league usually respond after a big day...like Addai(4 TD...then 0)...Romo(5 TD...then 0)...I am thinking Bush will have about 50 yds and no TDs...sorry LHucks.

I'll take the over on 50 yards. Reggie takes it to another gear when the spotlight is on.

Yeah but those Cowboys are pretty good...in the middle of a 4-0 run and you might want to check out what that defense has done for most of the season. Cowboys are averaging about 14 points a game on defense for the past 6 weeks. There is a reason they are starting to get the SB talk...although they are right now the #4 seed in the NFC.

Reggie will crash down to Earth. Cowboys have a good and underrated D

I think he'll get a TD tho, so expect something like 30 yards rushing and 50 yards receiving with one rec TD. Is this wishful thinking on my part? Probably.

Cowgirls aren't THAT good. He'll get around 100-125 total yards and a TD or two IMO.
Really? Like when Ware lit up Brandon Jacobs yesterday on short yardage...yeah the Cowboys/girls are not that good...I don't have Silver and Blue pom poms but the Boys do look good right now and are playing as a team. NO has a lead on Carolina and can probably take the division with a 10-6 record...might be a let down game.I hope your right about Bush but I don't see him tearing a hole in the Cowboys "D" right now.

If Colston and/or Horn are still hurt (and Bush's shoulder injury isn't an issue) Bush has a chance to do some damage in the passing game even though the Cowboys have a good defense. Barber caught 5 passes for 53 yards yesterday. I think Bush could emulate that production.

I really think this is a game where Brees steps up. He was quiet yesterday because it was the Bush Show. But if the Cowboys take away the running game then it will be put on Brees' shoulders to win the game through the air. And while I've been very impressed with the Cowboys recently, I think Brees can do it.

Yep...I agree that Bush may be relied upon with the WR corps being thin. We might see him in the downfield passing game more than usual. Due to the Dallas D speed I think Bush might find it a little more difficult to get to the outside...especially with the D cheating towards the short game with the thin WR corps. Brees will need to connect downfield to keep them honest.

i will say this

if colston is playing, he will EXPLODE vs the weak Dallas cover safeties

Dallas can be beat by going over the top against them and Colston/Brees can hurt us.

Henderson has the speed to beat your safeties as well. The NO WRs vs. the DAL secondary is one of two key matchups here IMHO.

I think the NO secondary has no cake walk with the dallas wr's.

The thing getting lost in all of this is the fact that Payton coached the QB's in Dallas. Romo has come on, and seemingly no one has been able to figure out how to gameplan for him. Mayhaps Sean Payton knows EXACTLY what rattles the young QB? Of all the teams I think have a shot to end Dallas's insane hotstreak, N.O. is the best bet.

By that logic then Romos 0 TD game should be followed by> 300+3tds? Sorry to hijack.....I think the shoulder injury limits Bush - 30 rush 40 rec 1 td.

I agree...this game will be won by whatever team can score the most.

Am I the only one wondering what LHUCKS's motives are here, considering what he wrote about Bush earlier this season?

I said he was overrated as a second round pick, and that I'd draft him in the late third in ppr's.I stand by that.

i got :owned: he made us look foolish on the td and when he gets space hes a handful..
 You're a stand-up guy, CB#1.I still had visions of the Ravens and Bengals drubbings in my head ... was very much concerned that the Cowboys might simply overmatch the Saints last night.

In that 4-0 run take a look at who they played? The best team was the Giants, but their defense was without 6 starters and 2 of their backups

He's now a top 10 RB is PPR leagues so, at the very least, R. Bush is an early 2nd round pick.
just checked my league hes the #9 rb behind 1pt behind barber :owith jones out he may finish top 7 in a pprconsidering his start that would be

I think all of the Saints(minus Horn) have surpassed expectations...that being said, given Reggie's point distribution he is still a bad second round pick...as are almost all rookie RBs.

His last two weeks have more than justified the late second-round pick I spent on him when I consider where he stands compared to the other players I was considering there. He obviously didn't do much for the bulk of the season but as I wrote in one of the other Bush threads if your team is in contention he has a chance to make a huge impact in your team's chances of winning a championship. That's definitely what he's done the last two games and it's the reason why I drafted him. I believed in his talent to make a huge impact and he's delivering now. The scary thing is he went gonzo on the Cowboys last night and really wasn't very involved. He only had 3 carries prior to the garbage time drive and only about 10 touches overall until the very end.

Trust me...I know Reggie has talent and believe he should have been the top non-QB taken in the draft. That said, he was still a bad second round pick this year regardless of how he finishes the season.

Not if he plays a key role in helping teams who took him there win a fantasy championship. Who would you rather have right now? Bush, Dunn or Kevin Jones? That's just one example of three RBs who were typically available late in the second. Dunn and Jones were kicking Bush's behind for most of the season but now both are hurt (Jones may be done for the year) and Bush is starting to excel. You won't get a single argument from me that Bush under-achieved for most of the season. No question about that. But again, if your team was in contention with him not doing much now he has a chance to play a huge role in your title run.And isn't that exactly why you would have drafted him in the second round to begin with? Speaking for myself, that's exactly the reason why. He's delivering on my expectations even if it took him longer to make an impact than I originally anticipated and projected.

sorry i took him with 2.12/3.01 in redraft and 1.01 in a rookie draft.. he has been huge for me in locking up a playoff spot and knocking the #1 seed and lt2 OUT

so he is worth my 2nd/3rd round pick on him (picked him and chad johnson at the turn)
