Reggie Bush trades turned down (1 Viewer)

What in addition to Reggie would you need for Moats and Glenn? I'd hate to fleece ya like that Johnny! :D
I'm not sure. It's a proven fact that Westbrook will go down, and Deuce will get all the carries in NO, so I would think a couple 1st rd picks should suffice.
You make some darn good points Johnny! I'll think about that offer and let you know if I can swing it. :D

You made a good trade Chuck. You got the best player out of the deal and that is always a good thing. It was a little tough for me to trade away a guy like LT, but felt I would improve my starting lineup this year, and still be setup for the future. I love Reggie Bush and think he will be the #1 FF player within the next 3 years. And I expect the same numbers for Bush in 2006 that EBF projected a couple of posts above. That's why I felt ok about doing the trade. For my 3rd Flex position I was looking at having to start a guy like Battle, Barlow, Pittman or even Justin McCareins. Hopefully Bush and CJ is better than LT and Battle. I think it will be.
Hawkeye, ya rat bast%rd! :P I tried to get LT2 for a month Sundays & all I got was " I'm keepin' him."Then ya trade him for a 2 bit rookie who's gonna hold out possibly the whole season!

BTW, you could have traded down in the initial draft & got Bush league - why here?
Yeah I'm sorry about that nightshift. I really didn't have any intention of trading LT when you asked about him. But Saturday night I got home and had this offer from JohnnyU, and it was an offer I felt like I needed to explore. I tried to get a little more out of Johnny but the stubborn ole boy wasn't havin it. :P j/k Johnny! So I ended up taking his original offer. Had I traded down from the 1.1 spot to get Bush, I don't think I would have been able to get Chad Johnson too. That's why I did the trade here.BTW, you have a damn good team! Did you really need LT and LJ? :P
Of course! ;) Now when you get tired of Bush, let me know... FIRST.
I promise you I'll never get tired of Bush. But if I ever decide to trade Reggie Bush you're the first one I'm callin!
Ya sure now? :D Ya ain't gonna try & ream me for Roy Williams and end up with the best damn PPR team anyone has ever seen, hmmm?

Nope, I promise. I want to at least give you guys a chance!!

A little league info:

10 owner dyansty league

Starting:

2 QBs, 2 RB's, 4 WR's, 1 TE, 1 PK, 1 DF

Scoring:

6 points all TD's, 1 pt per 20 yards passing, 1 pt per 10 yards rush/rec.

My Team:

QB: M Bulger, A Brooks, A Smith, A Walter

RB: R Brown, K Jones, D Rhodes, TJ Duckett

WR: A Boldin, Roy Williams, L Coles, D Mason, M Muhamad, B Lloyd, V Jackson

TE: J Witten

Rookie Draft Picks:

1.1, 1.2, 1.8

HERE'S THE OFFER:

E Manning, B Westbrook, M Harrison for the 1.1 pick

PLEASE keep in mind that this league starts 2 QB's and gives 6 pts for td passes.

The original plan before the offer:

1.1 R Bush, 1.2 M Leinart, 1.8 L White/ C Jackson/ V Davis

If I made that trade I would probably take these players instead:

1.2 L Marroney, 1.8 C Jackson

If I don't trade:

QB: M Bulger, A Brooks, A Smith, A Walter, M Leinart

RB: R Brown, K Jones, R Bush, D Rhodes, TJ Duckett

WR: A Boldin, Roy Williams, L Coles, D Mason, M Muhamad, B Lloyd, V Jackson, C Jackson

TE: J Witten

If I do the trade:

QB: M Bulger, E Manning, A Brooks, A Smith, A Walter

RB: R Brown, K Jones, B Westbrook,L Marroney, D Rhodes, TJ Duckett

WR: M Harrison, A Boldin, Roy Williams, L Coles, D Mason, M Muhamad, B Lloyd, V Jackson, C Jackson

TE: J Witten

I am seriously considering the offer, but the idea of bush and all of his potential, along with not really hurting that bad at qb if I draft Lienart, and the fact taht I'm not that in love with Westbrook, and M Harrison, being 33 years old, all gives me pause.

I guess the real point of the message is this. How valuable is R Bush? REALLY VALUABLE!!!!!! :banned:

This went down in a Misfit league last night (all FBG's owners, 14 teams, start 2RB, 2 WR/TE, 2 flex, no ppr):

1.01 & 2.01

for

1.02 & 1.04

It won't take much for him to eclipse your projections.

These are modest weekly averages:

12 carries - 50 yards

3 catches - 20 yards

.5 TDs

That's 13 ppg. I'd argue that those numbers represent the floor for Bush in 2006. If the Saints staff really lets him loose, then he could easily manage these weekly numbers:

15 carries - 60 yards

4 catches - 25 yards

.6 TDs

That's 15.5 ppg as a conservative ceiling.

I know college isn't the NFL, but this guy split time last year and averaged:

15 carries - 134 yards

2.8 catches - 37 yards

1.4 TDs

That's 28.3 ppg. He won't sniff those numbers in the NFL (at least not any time soon), but if he plays 16 games then I guarantee you he'll exceed 160 fantasy points. I'd say 12.5-16 ppg represents the likely range for Bush in ppr leagues. Catches add huge value in PPR. Brian Westbrook is a huge scorer in those leagues. Bush is a comparable player with arguably greater talent.
Well in one keeper IDP I drafted 12th(out of 12) and took SJax and Rudi and then Reggie in the rookie draft. May be interesting. No trade offers.

DYNASTY:

I was offered

LT

Heath miller

for

BUSH

GATES

-------------

Thought about it long and hard......

turned it down.
