Reggie Bush (1 Viewer)

Personally I just find it ironic that someone would use Maroney to support a skinny-leg argument against Bush. I like Maroney, but Bush (skinny-legged or not) could run laps around him.

Here's a link to a ranking of the top college RB's: LINK

he also plays on the West Coast (####...ies), and that conference he plays in doesn't exactly scare the SEC or BIG 10.  Not that USC isn't good, but that whole region sucks compared to the teams in the east and south.
Even if that were true, how would that affect his ability to become an elite professional football player? It didn't stop these guys:Chad Johnson

Carson Palmer

Tony Gonzalez

LaDainian Tomlinson (WAC, if I remember correctly)

Corey Dillon

Steven Jackson

Keyshawn Johnson

Jonathan Ogden

Donnie Edwards

There are too many to name, but you get the idea. The level of competition isn't a concern.
Woah woah -- that's different, these guys all had long, beefy legs.
:lmao: JU - you really need to lighten up. Although, the legs thing is def. becoming decent shtick.

That list of top RB's is BS IMO....Peterson isn't better than Bush......did anybody see last years national championship game??? Reggie destroyed Peterson (via comparison) in that game.....I feel like you guys haven't seen enough of Reggie.....because if you had....this thread would have ended ages ago......Bush is the best player in the nation and will be an outstanding NFL RB.....just my 2 cents. Oh......and its the most frustrating thing to hear Maroneys name in the same sentence as Bush......not even close...... :wall:

My concern with Bush isn't necessarily his size, it's the position's he's played at USC- Tweener. From what I've watched of him, he doesn't get many carries a game and doesn't run much between the tackles. He's given the ball in open space and asked to make a play. To be a successful every down NFL back, he's going to need to carry it in between the tackles. The height/weight on Maroney is off on ESPN and other places. They list him at 5-11 205, but he put on 10-15 pounds over the past year. Some guys posting above may like Maroney more due to the fact that he's shown he can handle 20+ carries a game turning the corner and busting it through the tackles.

Yeah - if Bush comes out, it is clearly Bush.
No it's not, it's Maroney. I'll kiss every cow's #### in Texas if Bush is drafted before Maroney in 75% of all drafts.
That include the NFL draft smoochie? Because I'll bet that Bush is taken before Marooney in 100% of all NFL drafts. After that, situation will dictate fantasy prospects.
