Reggie Wayne (1 Viewer)

Or is it a mirage and he will finish in the 7-10 range?

Would you be going out of your way to offer the Miles Austin owner or Rody White owner a straight up swap?

Maybe even for Megatron?

What are Reggie Wayne owners doing?

I am a Wayne owner and I'm happy. I also tried to trade for him in another league and the asking price was high.

So if the Miles Austin owner offered you a straight up 1-1 swap - would you budge?

I think Austin will be the #1WR in FF this year - any other WR you would take over Reggie Wayne?

Hakeem Nicks and Roddy White.
I got really lucky and drafted Wayne, White and Nicks in a 12 team league out of the 10 spot. I wouldn't give any of them up for Austin.....ever.

I'd trade Wayne away for Austin or Roddy. Probably not Nicks, but I own Nicks in every league, so I don't need to get him. It's doubtful that you'd be able to trade Wayne for White or Austin, though. Much like Wayne is satisfying his owners, Austin and Roddy owners probably aren't looking to sell their high performing studs.

If your scoring heavily weights yards and receptions, then he should be top 5 because of injuries to Andre and Calvin, but I'd still rank Moss, White and Austin ahead of him. In scoring systems weighted heavily toward TDs, he isn't even the top guy on his team. Also, when both Collie and Garcon are both healthy, his stats are likely to decline.

I am in a league where you start 3 wr. I have the weekly headache of choosing between Miles Austin, Roddy White, Reggie Wayne, and Hakeem Nicks every week. I aquired Roddy in a trade because I had a ####load of depth at Running Back, as well as Gates and Keller at TE. Gave up Clayton, Keller, and Torain the week before Clayton tore up his knee.

Of all three WR... I honestly would think about sending off Reggie Wayne first. I actually just offered him in a trade recently. My team is absolutely stacked (with Chris Johnson, Ray Rice, Charles and Hillis at RB.... my only weakness is QB. I have Matt Ryan and Favre. I was thinking about offering up Wayne for Rivers to an owner who has Rivers and Orton, but no good WRs outside Santana Moss. If I could insure the health of the other three WR's all year, I would do it.

I think its safely gonna be White and Wayne at the 1 and 2, then some other point in the top 5 Austin.

how do u posibly make a team like that
First, I drafted out of the #1 slot... In this league you can keep one player that you drafted from the 4th round on the previous year. I kept Charles, I drafted Chris Johnson first... on the turn around coming back I got Wayne, Austin (Johnson/Johnson/Moss/Fitz/White were already gone. As well as most of the top backs because we have to start 3 RB). I got Moreno/Gates at the next turn around. Coming back around, QB's are pretty important in this league and ALL of the top QB's were gone really early. I ended up grabbing Nicks (who everyone let slip, but wasnt that suprising), Portis, Lynch (wish I didn't pass up LT who I got in other leagues)Fast forwarding to the season. I go nuts on the waiver wire. After week 2 when Ray Rice hadn't done anything(and was questionable with a knee injury), and the owner that had him, also had Ryan Grant who went out with an injury.. Moreno was producing pretty good in our PPR league and Portis had a 2 TD game. I traded them both along with Mario Manningham (producing great at the time) for Ray Rice with the hope that Rice would come around. The owner almost had to, because he only had one starting RB after Grant went down, and it was Rice who wasn't doing anything. He was also weak in WR depth. Jonathan Stewart wasn't doing anything for him either.Ok... Fast forward to last week. Once again... I grabbed good pickups off on the waiver wire. I had Mark Clayton (after week 1) who was outproducing guys like Wes Welker, Randy Moss, Fitzgerald, ect... He was 11th in WR scoring in my PPR league. I also had the #1 and #2 TE's in the league. We have to start TE's. I also scopped up Ryan Torain who was now the Starting RB in Washington and looked promising in the game that Portis went down. I went to another owner.... and traded him Keller, Clayton, Torain for Roddy, Shiancoe (who was injured and on a bye for him). This owner also had Beanie Wells who was really underproducing for him. Remember, we have to start 3rb and 3wr... so Depth is extremely important. This trade actually was a huge plus for his team... as Clayton became his best WR (he also had Welker and Floyd that Clayton was outproducing which I also used during negotiations), he now had another starting RB, and the 2nd best TE in the league behind Gates. Remember that Keller was also outproducing many top WR's. Of course... Clayton got hurt... Just as Portis did after I traded him.Basically, I made the right moves at the right time. I also went after owners who were really hurting with injuries in a league where depth is crucial. So, that's how I ended up with that team. If that comment was directed towards me.... lol

You could have just said you play in a league with idiots and saved the long explanation.

I knew that this would be the reaction on this message board. Jealousy is easy to predict. There was nothing wrong with either of those trades, or the draft that went down. I had a great draft, I made the best moves off of the WW, and I sold high. I play in 4 different very competitive money leagues. I am 5-0 in one.... 4-1 in 2... and 3-2 in the other. Even in the 3-2 league, I am the top scorer and lost both games by 1 point. Go ahead... be envious. I would be doing the same thing in your league.

Okay, relax.....as you said, you knew it was coming. Good luck this week in your efforts to get to 6-0, 5-1, 5-1, and 4-2!!!!!
