I believe Evans is the play here... even if Maroney does comeback.... this game will be out of hand early and NE will be running the ball alot... Evans will be in for a lot of late game yds and a TD.
Evans has 10 carries, 20 yards, 1 TD on the season. Why do you think he's the play? It just sounds strange to me, would it make sense if I said James Mungro is the "play" in Indy this week or Boomer Grigsby is the "play" in KC this week, I don't really get the logic that a fullback with 10 carries on the year is the play? Explain it to me, I'm kinda slow. :hot:
heres the logic, Morris is out... Maroney is coming off an injury and may not play... this game will be over by the 2nd half; then it will be "grind it out time on the ground"... who do you think will be doing that? Not Faulk and BB might even pull Maroney out if he plays during that time. Which makes Evans a nice one week wonder IMO.
I think you may be jumping to some conclusions here. The last 5 games the Pats have played in MIA:- Lost by 13 points- Won in OT- Lost by 1 after being up by 3 TD- Won by 7 points- Were shutout 21-0I know this year's Pats >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> this year's Dolphins, but NE simply gets off track in Miami. On paper, NE should blow the doors off of Miami, but they've been able to say that year in and year out.
(KFFL) Karen Guregian, of the Boston Herald, reports New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick said he would consider using FB Heath Evans in more of a featured role Week 7. I think an "I told you so" me be needed to you all that called me crazy on Evans
Because Belichick said he would "consider" using him more? Because Belichick is a guy who we can take at his word? If and when Evans actually gets a lot of work in the game, THEN you can start with the told you sos...

You told us "Evans would be the play"...... We'll see about that, don't come back and say "I told you so" if Evans gets 5 carries, come back and say "I told you so" if Evans is the top Fantasy RB in NE this week. More carries could mean 3 a game now!!! :coffee:
