Rethinking my 11th pick strategy in a redraft (1 Viewer)

Originally I was planning on going RB like caddy,Lamont, or maybe Rudi as my #1 pick, then on the turn grabbing a WR like Smith or Fitz. But now with the lack of RB's out there should I go RB,RB? like Mcgahee or Parker?

People that I had targeted like Droughns,Taylor, and Dunn I think will now be gone by the time my third pick comes around, especially with the Duckett news.

Our point system is 6pts per passing and rushing Td

1pt per 10yrds receiving and rushing no ppr, we draft on Sunday

Guys help a brotha out...

Take whomever you have ranked the highest.

If you can get Caddy and Smith - that's a great RB-WR combo.

I would not go RB-RB just to get some RBs in the first 2. Someone will fall to you in the 3rd.

Parker's ADP is around 25, so you would be taking him early.

Take the top-flight WR.

You'll get someone in the #15-22 RB range on the way back through in the third round unless your league is super-sharky and all 10 teams ahead of you take two RBs in their first three picks (highly unlikely).

At the bottom of the snake, I think it's really important to go RB/WR, RB/WR in your first 4 rounds unless an unbelievable opportunity presents itself.

I'm in the same boat as you, and will more then likely go RB/WR, even though I don't rate Smith as my #1 WR with his hammy issue. That sort of thing scares me. I've got Holt or Johnson as my #1's right now.

Tang I like that strategy it seems to make sense, the only downside is my RB3 would be like Gore, or Addai, or maybe Deuce Mac.

I'm also in the 11 spot. I will be going RB/WR (or WR/RB) on the first turn and again on the second. Round 5 will likely be my 3rd RB. I won't pick a QB before round 6, at minimum.

Things fall right you could be looking at:

Rudi Johnson

Torry Holt

Roy Williams

Deshaun Foster

Yep, those sound pretty good to me. Guys who you are looking to hit a homerun with or fill in for a bye week or two.

I had my draft last weekend, and I was drafting out of the 11 spot in a 12 team league. 10 RBs were off the board before my pick. I was between Lamont and Cadillac. In the 2nd I got Chad Johnson (passed on Peyton, not sure if that was a good idea or not). I was able to get Foster and Gore in the 3/4. I think my RB stable is very good, and very deep (was also able to pick up D Williams and Chris Brown). Galloway is my WR2 and Plummer is my QB. Don't know if this will help you, but this is what happened. We were shocked at the RB runs.
