With so much media saying one thing, doctors saying another "sources close to the situation", and the player themselves how do you know when to believe a questionable player will start? Two players I have are Brandon Myers and aaron Hernandez. I'm weak at TE right now so I have to start Myers. What is the probability of questionable players starting solely just based off of what you guys have seen over the years?

Rarely have I seen a player play with a doubtful tag, especially when it's a lower body injury. Questionable is all over the map and really depends on the coach. Guys like Harbaugh, Belichek, Fisher like to abuse the questionable tag to its fullest extent so it's pretty hard to tell. It's usually a safe bet if a player practices in full that he'll play, but for veteran players I noticed this doesn't matter as much either. "limited in practice" is about as nebulous as the questionable tag as well so I don't think that helps either. It's best to get a beat writer's account of how the player looks during practice and get the particulars.

90% of the time (almost regardless of designation) if they are active play them. the 10% involves limited snap counts. there was classic couch potato (iirc?) thread a while back that basically determined that 'injured' players score roughly the same as non-inured players.
