RETURNING THE RAIDERS TO GLORY (1 Viewer)

I seem awfully injury prone. I don't remember past dynasty QBs like the legend BRAD SMITH going out hurt this often.

There's actually a specific INJURY ranking (Fred Taylor is very injury-prone, for example), and MAGNUM is not particularly prone to injury - he just takes a lot of hits in the games because he's so fearless and stands in the pocket waiting for PORTER, TEYO or D-JAX to get open deep, he takes a lot of hits from opposing pass-rushers... almost always AFTER he's released the ball.
 
OK, with the 32nd and final selection of the 1st round, there's really only one player to take.A 1st round-ranked C with "GREAT" run-blocking AND pass-blocking, who's strength 98 - a real monster of a C.He's signed to a $10m/7 year rookie deal.

 
The question now is what to call our new C. Given that MARK TAUSCHER is a very solid T and could take over from LINCOLN KENNEDY when he retires, I think SNOW MONKEY should be the RAIDERS C of the future, to follow in the footsteps of OTTO and MOSEBAR.The C shall be SNOW MONKEY - unless he refuses the honor!

CUT:Mark TauscherBrian WestbrookJavon WalkerA huge $$$ bloodbath here, and one that's going to mean a big salary cap hit next season, but a necessary one to be able to bring in the excellent UFAs who are out there. Westbrook and Walker were declining rapidly as backups but were still on the big contracts they had originally signed, while Tauscher was slated to be the successor to Lincoln Kennedy - a position he now won't be filling, because there's a better OT out there in FA!

Good to have you back, YES! He's a starter at DE for us now and after an excellent playoff series he was unfortunately hurt in the SUPER BOWL.He's now a PRO BOWLER!
 
So it'll be a REVAMPED RAIDER outfit that takes to the field for YEAR SEVEN --EDGERRIN JAMES takes over at HB from FRED TAYLORMIKE WILLIAMS takes over at RT from LINCOLN KENNEDYQUINCY MORGAN and TODD PINKSTON are now the #3 and #4 WRsBRIAN KELLY is the new #3 CB, taking over from AL HARRISAnd SNOW MONKEY will make his debut for the DYNASTY that is the SILVER AND BLACK!

B.J. ASKEW (79) - A lowly project when we signed him as a UFA, now a Pro Bowl regular, great speed, solid hands, solid blocker.

WR QUINCY MORGAN (90) - #3 WR has speed and moves.
