For a while, it looked as though the SEAHAWKS were going to take this one!But RANDALL MAGNUM stayed cool and took the RAIDERS on a key drive, and then the SILVER AND BLACK D applied awesome pressure to seal the win!

 
Another worthy recipient of MVP would have been RT LINCOLN KENNEDY, who in his FINAL GAME as a RAIDER lead the team with 6 pancakes.

RETIRED:FRED TAYLORAL HARRISTAYLOR started in last year's SUPER BOWL before losing the starting job to EDGE.HARRIS was a valuable reserve CB for the RAIDERS in his four-year career with us.

 
SALARY CAP HELL:The RAIDERS' big spending ways have finally caught up with us!Going into the off-season, we have cap penalties of over $6m (this is from cutting well-paid vets like BRIAN WESTBROOK, JAVON WALKER and MARK TAUSCHER last off-season to squeeze in our new acquisitions)...And we only have just over $3m in cap room!Not good!We are going to have to do something about this!

NOT RE-SIGNED:Lincoln KennedyDee JenkinsKENNEDY was a huge part of the RAIDERS success over the last 7 years, but was on the point of retirement, and we couldn't justify keeping him on the roster with his salary with MIKE WILLIAMS having seized his job.JENKINS was a valuable reserve at DT, but once his rookie contract ran out he was too expensive to re-sign. He could well end up starting on another team.

 
RE-NAMED:We have a superb reserve MLB named GLEN JONES, who has been getting better and better since he was drafted several years ago.He has an out-of-this-world speed of 95, which is freakish for a LB.It may well be time he has a shot at a starting job, since we're trying to build a team of physical freaks and speed merchants.Given that a guy originally pencilled in as a reserve is now about to assume a big role, we're going to give him a proper name.POLISH HAMMER is a loyal reader of this thread and it's a perfect name for a MLB.Our super-fast MLB is hereby re-named POLISH HAMMER!Welcome to the team, HAMMER!

DRAFT:There are no HBs, FBs, or DEs, worth taking.But there is an UNBELIEVABLE CB out there with SUPER-freakish speed and acceleration.

 
I think we have to take the CB!SIGNED to a $9m/7 year deal.He is SPEED 99 and ACCLERATION 99.He is going to go like a BAT OUT OF HELL!And will be the single fastest player not only on the RAIDERS but in the whole league!
