Rhodes (1 Viewer)

Addai's Adidas

I drafted him and stashed him. He has hardly played at all since returning from suspension. He got NO carries today. I have seen rumors that he will be traded and that Jordan will be cut or IR'd. Either one of those things is the ONLY reason I'm holding on to him.

Am I a fool? BE HONEST.

I don't know if he'll be cut etc., but two things have hurt him this year, imo: 1) His suspension put him behind the curve -and- 2) He really isn't all that talented. Not a bad backup, but little more. Honestly, look at the numbers he put up for Indy while getting significant carries last year. Not at all impressive. If a RB can't average nearly 4.0 yards per carry in that wide open offense where the defensive focus is all on Manning and the passing game, how is he going to be successful behind a less-than-stellar Oakland offensive line with a weak passing attack??? I guess the bottom line for me is that Rhodes simply has the skill set of a backup. Apparently Oakland likes Fargas' burst better though, and how can you blame them?

I'd rather have Michael Bush on my roster than Dominic Rhodes right now, if you've got the room.

But the one to have right now is Fargas.

I can't explain it either. I thought he was worth a roster spot too (although I didn't get him in any league). Did he come back from suspension completely out of shape? Is he not picking up the play book? I would think if he could play in the Indy Offense he could play anywhere except maybe a Martz O. I just don't get it. He was productive last year sharing the load with Addai. He had a 1K season in relief of Edge one year. I just don't get it either...
