Great article in today's Boston Globe. Ricky Williams was in Cambridge helping to open Commonwealth Alternative Care. And to introduce his own brand of weed, Highsman. (play on words... Heisman??)

I remember on the old KFFL message boards, when Ricky was pulling his shenanigans, the Dolphins fans were irate and ranting, everyone was dunking on Ricky. Someone posted a link to a T-Shirt that said 'F*** Ricky' in teal and orange.

Someone posted, "you know, if your name is Ricky, you really ought to look into getting one of those shirts"

Soapbox incoming: I never begrudged the guy his weed. Always thought prohibition -- both in politics and football -- was an antiquated response to an intoxicating plant. People's lives were ruined over the dragnet response to weed. Just terrible, and a historical embarrassment. Props to Ricky for sticking to what he believed in. I just hope he's not a weed addict, which he likely is. (And yes, there are "weed addicts" or people with marijuana problems. They exist.)
