Seen many of these bins around my neighborhood but never knew what it was. This is the most "Portland" business I've seen in a while. I'm not surprised its so prominent here.
$18/month to take some of my garbage, so that I can feel a little better about myself helping the environment.
The small bins are about the size of a cake. I thought people were getting cakes delivered.

The trash company our neighborhood uses has a recycling program that you can pay extra for. We were all on board and then somebody actually followed the dedicated recycling truck one day for some reason and they all got dumped in the same spot in the landfill. Participation dropped off immediately.
