(KFFL) Mary Kay Cabot, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, reports Cleveland Browns LB Chaun Thompson has been gaining ground on LB D'Qwell Jackson in competition for the team's starting right inside linebacker spot after a strong preseason performance Saturday, Aug. 26.

Rookie D'Qwell Jackson will most likely start at right inside linebacker Sunday against the Saints over four-year veteran Chaun Thompson.

Coach Romeo Crennel won't announce his decision until game time, but Jackson has received more first-team reps in practice.
