I know most of you don't even know who this was, but as a UK fan and obviously a Colts fan, and being an old fart, I do.
I remember the Colts drafting him in the first round (26th overall) in 1977 and he hardly caught enough passes in college to justify being a first round pick. The draft was less of a science back then than it is today however. I guess that 11/126 in the senior bowl was enough to justify the pick by the Colts. Still one of the dumbest first round picks the Colts ever made IMO. RIP Randy Burke.

Former UK, NFL wide receiver Randy Burke dies at 70
Randall “Randy” William Burke, a former NFL wide receiver who played for the University of Kentucky and later worked as a senior marketing consultant at WKYT, died in his sleep overnight. He was 70.
