RIP Tupac (1 Viewer)

Big pun had the most unique rap style ever. He rhymes 4 times in 2 lines. Big L, well, you've obviously never listened to his only album. Biggie had it no doubt.
You've obviously never listened to both his albums.
If you mean big pun, his second album shouldn't count :goodposting: . And noob, Big L only had one album before he died. Thereafter doesn't count. If it did then Pac wouldn't even top the best 50.

People that don't recognize 2Pac as one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, rappers of all time, just don't get it and will never get it. They're not familiar with this type of music so their opinions on the subject are largely ignorant and irrelevant.
Do you realize just how little "talent" is involved in being a rapper? They can't play an instrument, they don't need a great (or even good) voice, they don't need to be able to read music. It's usually just a bunch of guys boasting about their posessions, how street-tough they are, and how awesome they are in the sack.Obviously, some are better at making worsd rhyme than others. Or rapper A has a more fluid delivery than rapper B, but let's not confuse a rapper's "talent" with that of a real musician.
Step to me and get blasted. Do you want karate?

Really? Explain the 'talent' involved.

2Pac's last words:

"And then I saw in his face, in his movements, all of a sudden in the snap of a finger, he changed," he says. "And he went from struggling to speak, being noncooperative, to an 'I'm at peace' type of thing. Just like that. . . He went from fighting to 'I can't do it.' And when he made that transition, he looked at me, and he's looking right in my eyes. And that's when I looked at him and said one more time, 'Who shot you?'. . . He looked at me and he took a breath to get the words out, and he opened his mouth, and I thought I was actually going to get some cooperation. And then the words came out: 'F**k you.' After that, he started gurgling and slipping out of consciousness."

It was a cop who was there and asked him that...thugs and rappers hate cops, so I'm not surprised. If it was a priest he probably would have had a different answer.

Reminds me of Tuco's dad in Breaking Bad when the DEA brings him in to confront Pinkman. Instead of pointing him out, he...poops himself.

"He's OG, he won't cooperate with the DEA no matter what."

I've never seen this thread until today. Just decided to read through it for shots and giggles. This is one of the most ignorant and untrue posts I've ever read on this board. Someone needs to do some homework here.

The best rapper of all time had his audio suppressed by the record companies. Still, when he went under a pseudonym starting with the Title Dr. he did manage to get his rhymes out to the public in printed form. I am talking about the one, the only, the undisputed master of the genre....

... Dr. Seuss.

You should hear the original basement tapes. Just him on voice recorded over tracks of him laying down a bass line on the flugelhorn. Stirring.
