Why do we need a new Indiana jones?

I hate the idea too, but if that means they make one less ### #### batman, spiderman, avengers, xman, plastic man movie I guess I should be happy.

Personally Id like Karl Urban as Indy. Hes got the gritty look and the charm to pull it off.

Together they have two sons: Hunter, born November 2000, and Indiana ("Indy"), born January 2005 and named for the eponymous hero of the Indiana Jones franchise, which Urban has cited as among his favorite films

I love the thought of Fillion in the role. Boreanz would be great, too, as would Karl Urban. But Disney's basically looking to reboot a franchise that will, realistically, need to span 7 - 10 years so they can squeeze at least a trilogy out of it, and all three would be a bit too old. Ten years ago, they'd have been shoe-ins, but not as much now, methinks.

Given that, I'd re-submit David Giuntoli's name (the dude from Grimm). If they go for a ten-year franchise (assuming the first Indiana Jones reboot film starts production next year), he'd be filming the last of the movies while still his early 40s.

No I did not and now I find Urban climbing up my list of favorite actors to the top 5.
