WR2 for Denver

2006: Smith and Marshall combined for 72 catches

2005: Lelie and Adams combine for 63

2004: Lelie and Watts combine for 84

2003: Lelie and McCaffrey combine for 56

I don't really want to dig thru stats from the Elway era but what do you all see now for these 2 WR. Who is going to start and are they going to make any FF impact this season opposite Javon Walker who I would argue is a better WR1 than Rod Smith ever was...much more explosive.

Hi MOP,

I really don't think it changes anything from where we've all been as this was pretty much expected. It's a tough thing to see for Smith as he's a warrior. But you just don't heal at his age like you do when you're younger. I hope he plays again but I wouldn't be shocked if he's done.
