Ben is miles ahead of Schaub in dynasty- and I've put my money where my mouth is. I had the option to trade either Roeth or Schaub for Vincent Jackson a while back, and I deliberately chose to trade Schaub. Over the last 3 years, Roethlisberger's PPG numbers are virtually identical to Philip Rivers'. He's one of the top 5 QBs in the NFL (as opposed to Schaub, who is a middling talent who plays above his head in fantasy), and his weapons keep getting scarier. I've got him as QB6 in my dynasty rankings (Romo at 7, Ryan at 10, Schaub at 11).In redraft, I'd take Romo, then Ben, then a huge dropoff, then Ryan, then Schaub.Edit: Points per game since 2007-23.09 - Brady22.76 - Rodgers22.23 - Brees21.27 - Romo20.71 - Manning19.71 - Warner19.46 - Roeth19.44 - Rivers18.82 - Schaub18.76 - McNabbAs a Big Ben dynasty owner, I'm pleased (and shocked) to see that every reply so far ranks him ahead of Schaub. If I had the ability to trade Ben for Schaub right now, I'd have to seriously consider it.

Not a fan. I think a lot of people are doing far too much projecting based on 2 games last year. His upside is nice, but I think he carries significantly more risk than a lot of people are willing to admit. Comparing him to a Roethlisberger or Romo is, in my mind, crazy... since those guys are already producing elite numbers and have already established themselves as elite talents (well, Roeth is an elite talent, Romo's "merely" very good). I have no problem putting him in the Ryan/Schaub tier (Schaub is the most proven but has the least potential, Stafford has the most potential but is the least proven, and Ryan is somewhere in between), but I think Romo/Roeth are a full tier ahead.Incidentally, Stafford deserves to be in this tier as well. Were it not for his injury issues, he may be at the TOP of this tier.
I'm curious who the Vick and Rodgers owners have at RB.I'd much rather have a Stafford/Bradford rotation (for instance) than blow 1/4 of my cap on just one QB.just had a live auction $200 cap, 4pt td, 0.5 ppr: romo $17, ben $7, schaub $8, ryan $9, stafford $19! (end of tier, last two guys waited), so surprised these qb's went so cheap. rodgers 47, vick 43, rivers 32, manning 19, brees 22
Jeez... I'm almost afraid to ask who the Vick/CJ owner is starting at WR. Mohamed Massaquoi and Darrius Heyward-Bey?vick team has chris johnson, moreno, benson, grant, woodhead. rodgers team has forte, beanie, fred jax, barber.
Yep. Those skank WRs have already sealed his fate. And when Vick takes his annual hiatus, that owner can look forward to the NHL season.vick/cj/bowe/plax/britt/s rice/ajgreen (gates te)
Agree completely. This is no longer "Turner's offense"... his burst looks to be completely gone from what I've seen. This is Matty's show now.Last time to buy low on Ryan IMO. The explosion is coming.
Seems eerily reminiscent of Rivers breakout (a broken down RB in the fold) and the necessity to pass. He's got 3 lethal new receiving toys (Julio, Quizz, and a fully recovered Harry Douglas in the slot). He will no longer have to force feed a TE that now struggles to seperate. No longer do we have to see Michael Jenkins get open once every 5 targets.
28 TD's in Year 3 and people were disappointed. My guess when he leads the league in TD's (and he will in the next 2-3 years) people will say they saw it coming when he threw 28 TD's at 25 years old.
I love you people that rank Ryan as a low level QB1 or even a QB2.![]()
The simple fact is that Matt Ryan could produce at a level equal to Peyton Manning (circa 2007-2010), and he'd still be producing more than half a point per game less than Romo. Romo's career per-start numbers are 272/1.92, which projects out to 4350/31 per 16 games (and this year's receiving weapons look to be better than usual in Dallas). Tony Romo is the biggest stud QB that no one ever talks about.Last time to buy low on Ryan IMO. The explosion is coming.

Count me on board. Have been targeting Ryan in most drafts, as he'll far outplay his ADP.Also noticed a scheduling oddity. Atlanta has 12 games in domes or this season. Should be good for the offense overall.Agree completely. This is no longer "Turner's offense"... his burst looks to be completely gone from what I've seen.
