Who's jumping on the Ron Dayne train vs ATL? Is this a risky play with Houstons receivers hurt? Looks like he had some good games last year against some decent defenses.

I guess no one. But I'd buy a ticket. For this game, anyways. He should be good for 1-2 td's and rack up the yards. Some of his #'s will depend on Gado's involvement but i'd roll with Ron Dayne. I also like Ward under the lights and have to start Watson in ine league.

All aboard the "Dayne Trayne" I have him as my RB#3. Looking for 50-75yds, 1 or 2 TD's and 1 or 2 receptions.

With Rudi out, I'm definitely on board. The matchup is great and he was an absolute stud in his four starts late last season. At worst, I think he gets at least 60 yards rushing with a good shot at a TD. Upside is over 100 and 2 TDs.

Forced to start him after S-Jax went down, Portis, Betts, and Fred Taylor on bye's, KJ up against Bears. As long as he gets me double digits points, I will be happy.

im down with dayne. DAYNE!!!

combined w/ owen daniels, i have singlehandedly monopolized every worthwhile FF starter from houston.

I put him in at RB3/flex instead of Sammy Morris and I am still thinking on this.....Any thoughts on how his ribs are doing? That is the only consideration here IMO...

I picked him up as well, but I can't see starting him over FWP, Henry or ADP. I think he has a great match up. Gado might get some but Dayne will get the bulk.

starting him as I'm in a bye week bind at RB. my only other options are Musa Smith or Garrett Wolfe. Hoping for a TD, but that Texans passing game concerns me with no Andre Johnson. I could see them really struggling on offense today.

Dayne is starting for me in 2 leagues.............for SJax and Portis. I've got no better options.

80yds, 2 TDs vs ATL.........hopefully.

Dayne in as a flex over Greg Jennings, Roddy White and Jerious Norwood. Thinking about 100 total and a td. :fingerscrossed:

Does anyone have confirmation on that last sentence?
:( Wasn't Dayne out with an injury last week? I think it's a big assumption that a Dayne is going from being inactive one week to suddenly getting a majority of carries the following week.

Yes, Dayne was out last week with bruised ribs...............but during the week in the papers (hou-chronicle), Kubiak admitted that he shouldn't have deactivated Dayne. At the same time, he's glad that he did so he could fully heal.

He's a go today.

FWIW, Clayton is reporting that Dayne will get most of the carries today.
Makes sense. In another thread I posted the numbers of Dayne's carries vs. the No. 2 RB the weeks he started late last season. It wasn't even comparable. Dayne got a ton of carries and the backup typically got 4-5. Maybe Gado gets a few more today but I think it will be the Ron Dayne Show in the Houston backfield against a poor Atlanta run defense.

I want to start Dayne, but I also have Marshall for the Flex spot and he's been productive all season. :OneFootOnBandwagon:

I'm considering Ron Dayne versus Sammy Morris as well. Leaning Dayne. My big concern with Dayne is that he starts the game but then reinjures those ribs after some hits. Then comes out of the game. Could see that happening which would be crippling (for me, not Dayne).

I am on the band wagon, but have fears. Fears of 8 in the box due to no AJ. Fears of the ribs and Gado getting more of a share. But Dayne is not as bad as his rep in the FFL world. He can be an effective NFL back and this is a great matchup.

Still debating whether to start Dayne over Sammy Morris. <shiver> Dayne gives me the shakes. But he does get the start today with Ahman Green inactive.

Rotoworld lists Green as inactive today and says Dayne will get the start. I can't find it anywhere else and Roto doesn't list a source. NFL.com, ESPN, etc. all still list Green as questionable. I'm starting Dayne over Sammy Morris and Brian Leonard.

In the past 30 minutes Ive swapped Dayne and Marshall in the Flex spot about 5 times. I think I'm just gonna flip a coin >_>

Starting Dayne over Westy. Also starting Dayne over Caddy and KJ.
I'm also going with Dayne over Caddy, but not with confidence.I'm afraid of a stat line of... 16 carries, 39 yd, 0 TD. No A.Johnson or Jacoby Jones = stacked D against the run.

Just pulled Maroney out of my line-up for Dayne. Gulp. I can't risk a ZERO if Maroney doesn't suit up on MNF and so I'm also tying my hopes to the Tub of Dayne today . . .
