I built a shed this weekend but neglected to leave a 1/8 gap (for expansion) between the 5/8 plywood on the roof. Instead they are butted up against each other and nailed/screwed down in place. Pulling up and reinstalling the boards would be a major pain and time consuming. Could I just cut a gap between the boards using a circular saw set to a depth of 5/8?
Thanks
