Am I right in thinking the lockout is going to mean more rookie holdouts than usual? There's going to be a very short window for signing these guys to contracts. That will translate to even less time to learn the playbooks and develope team chemistry. I doubt many teams have contacts ready to be signed with rookies, because we don't know yet what team caps are going to look like, much less if there will be a rookie cap. Rookies just keep looking less and less attractive every day. RB may be the lone exception.

I'm guessing that the CBA will include some sort of rookie cap in both dollars and years, so that will speed the process up of players holding out.
