Bama is very lucky to only be down three heading into the half

And Michigan was very lucky to come out of the second half tied. But they came up big on both sides of the ball in OT. And more importantly, they kept their special teams unit off the field

Both teams played well for stretches, and both teams made some really sloppy mistakes on basic things like snapping and punt returns
