Royal v Edwards (1 Viewer)

Easily a masked Assistant coach question... But since I already know who I am going to start, it's technically not.

Eddie Royal

v

Braylon Edwards

Both have proven to be very effective WRs in their own right.

Royal returns after a down year, with production killer McDaniels out of the equation, and seemingly back to complete health.

Edwards finds himself on a new team, with plenty to prove... and seemingly as the teams best option at WR.

As a WR3, who do you believe has the higher upside for the 2011 season?

I targeted both players in my draft as late round steals. I think both will have above average seasons, with perhaps one emerging as a reliable high WR2.

What say you all?

If those guys were late round steals, why are they options for WR3?

Braylon has the higher ceiling.

If this is PPR, Royal would be closer.

Anyone have any dirt on what happened to Royal last year? After week 4, he started to underperform. He was a top 10 WR in PPR leagues weeks 1-4 last year, then came back to Earth. I'm not sure if he got himself into the doghouse, but I'd like to know more about it. Could be a steal if he could reclaim the magic from weeks 1-4 of last year.

Well, I got Braylon in round 11, and Royal in the 19th.Braylon I would say has the higher cieling, but I dont know if that's the case on SF. Vernon is the going to be the perferred option without question, but Edwards will still get loving as the WR1.Royal has injuries last season and McDaniels misused him. That was the major issue with Royal, and why I call him a steal.
