You guys familiar with ol' Bubba? He was just in the announcer's booth being interviewed at the Yanks/Royals game. He was drafted #5 overall by Kansas City, and he just signed with them today. Oh BTW, he could have gone to Nebraska on a full ride to be their starting QB. Must be nice. His football highlites are here:

He only managed to rush for 310 yards in that game -- as a QB. The kid runs like Eric effing Dickerson.

Oh BTW again... he was the star of his HS hoops team.

Pretty sure Fin already has him rostered.

Somewhat painfully familiar as a Nebraska fan, so yeah. Of course it was more or less a given from day one that he was going to baseball considering the money in play. In addition to his multi-sport exploits, he could have been drafted in the top 10 as either a pitcher (low-mid 90s, three pitches) or outfielder. If he can handle the mental grind he's going to be a superstar.
