What would Rudi's value be if he signed with Detroit? Would he start?

After meeting with free agent Rudi Johnson Sunday and Monday morning, Lions GM Matt Millen indicated that no deal is imminent.Millen probably offered a minimum contract and Johnson a place on the Week 2 roster. "He looked fine. We’re where we’re at," Millen said. "If he’s comfortable with it, fine. If he’s not comfortable with it..."

Well, you're looking at a guy that's gotten 3.8 and 2.9 YPC on a good offense. Now, you put him on the Lions...? I think it's minimal. He offers them some toughness, and he's probably a better inside runner than Smith. Still, he's just slower these days, and he's going to find it hard to excel anywhere, but especially Detroit. Maybe goal line carries...?
