There's a possibility this football season can be cut short, after it begins. This can take several forms:
1. Cancelled altogether after X regular season games.
2. Regular season stopped after X games and play-offs begin with Y teams.
Many fantasy "gurus" are advising leagues put in rules to account for this happening, which makes a lot of sense. Has anyone thought through this or have seen suggestions on such rules? For example, if the regular season is cancelled after 10 games, what do you do? Do you just call the season based on some factor (overall record, total points, whatever)? What if its 7 games? 3 games? When should the results count, in terms of fantasy competition?
@Joe Bryant @Sigmund Bloom - might be worth an article or a discussion from the FBG staffers, since this could affect every one of your subscribers... thanks in advance!
