This guy has been lighting up the tackle column most of the year. Is this a fluke considering he's a NT? What do we all think about his chances going forward in tackle heavy leagues for DL?

I wouldn't make too much of his last two games. It does look like he'll get 30+ tackles for the first time in 3 seasons but I wouldn't anticipate the 5+ tackle games to continue.

Just curious what you're basing this on? He's had 4 or more tackles in every game he's played in this year.......is there no chance of Shaun Rogers type season here? I get same points for assists as tackles......so a 2-3 day is actually a pretty good day for this guy.thanks TJ

The primary reason is the slow emergence of B.J. Raji. So far Pickett has been the unquestioned starter but as the season moves along I suspect he'll see fewer snaps. He very well could be just as effective in fewer snaps but that's a lot to ask out of a nose tackle. A secondary reason is the improving health of two defenders who will take a few of these tackles/assists: Nick Barnett and Atari Bigby.I'm not saying you're going to have to put up a missing poster...just beware that there are reasons to be wary pf Pickett's early totals continuing.
